Brendan should come back to Hollyoaks. He was a brilliant character and he made Ste happy. Also he is and probably always be Emmett J Scanlan's Most famous and most loved characters. Emmett J Scanlan should come back as Brendan for another 3 years but at the end give Stendan their happy ending.
Thankfully in the end Brendan got what he deserved - prison.
You forgot something. You left out that which made Stendan unique. You omitted the part that distinguished Stendan from all other gay storylines. Stendan broke new ground but you failed to include it. Stendan was not just another gay storyline. It was a gay domestic violence storyline. You left out all the abuse that Brendan, unprovoked, heaped onto someone he supposedly loved but continued to use as a punching bag. Shame.
