Turbow Farms is a small, family-run, specialty cut flower farm nestled in the foothills of Los Altos, California. We started our farm in 2018, tucking our blooms into the way we live and utilizing our native greenery that surrounds our little plot!
Nowadays, we teach flower farming and flower arranging workshops at the farm. Now, we're bringing them online! We also sell custom bundles and arrangements of seasonal blooms and host flower farm events.

New subscriber and dahlia addicted. My second year of growing them in So Cal 9b mainly Inland Empire area. Like you, shade cloth is my friend. This year my most prolific include: Kelvin Floodlight. Linda’s Baby. Arabian Night. Wizard of Oz. Cornel. Bashful. Thomas Edison. Look forward to more dahlia highlights.
Yesssss!!!! Shade cloth! We started our season with shade cloth and as we hit full stride, I pulled it off to prevent them from getting leggy (our sun moves funny here late summer) 😂 I definitely pull over on hot days of 90+F! Sounds like you have some serious beauties of your own growing too!!!! Yay for dahlias!!!!

Hi Charmaine ! I love your farm. It's gorgeous. Just have a question. How to you order from Green Works? Or do you sell some ranunculus corms. I am a very small flower gardener and love the ranunculus you are growing. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you. PS I am in Texas, Zone 8b
Hi Jeff! THANK YOU and thank you for watching!! So it's a bit complicated ordering from GreenWorks as there are import/broker/phyto costs. I can explain more in detail if you want to DM! However, I believe Ball Horticulture is starting to offer some of these varieties via formally known as "Ednie." I suspect their minimum corm quantities will run 50 each. So if you are needing quantities in and around 50, I would certainly check them out as they will offer wholesale pricing. I hope this helps and I'm happy to answer any other questions. (sorry for the slow reply!)
