"And although [horror] gave a start to the careers of many people in this room, somehow, it doesn't seem to command the respect it deserves" HATE TO TELL YA, TAYLOR, BUT SHIT HASN'T CHANGED 14 YEARS LATER
The misery is really fucking horror movie to me, becuase it's too real and there's possibilities happen in real life among those horror movie. Imagine kidnapped by psycho and torture you, goddamn.
They included Twilight, a terrible laughable cliché "romance" movie... Edward Scissorhands and Interview With A Vampire, two gothic romance movies... THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA AND THE HUNCHBACK OF NOTRE DAME, two DRAMA MOVIES (with a bit of gothic romance)... seriously? At least my favorite 2002s The Ring is there 💙💙
Needed some Fright Night in there, & Donald Sutherland doing his famous Invasion of The Body Snatchers scream at the ending would've been perfect. But, all in all - it was good.
And this is why I am a huge fan of horror movies I like the expense gore slashing dark films I grew up watching every single one and seeing a trip you like this every single horror movie that's awesome sauce
One time I was coming back from school (I was probably in 3rd or 4th) and my older sister and cousin were watching Friday the 13th (1980’s version). I didn’t know it was a horror movie so I was watching with them. I remember a scene where he kills this girl and at first I was shocked I wasn’t scared but just shocked. I was like wth am I watching.
“No novacaine. It dulls the senses.” “Come and play with us Danny. Forever and ever.” “I see dead people.” “This is the moment when the supposedly dead killer comes back to life.”
Here are the horror movies I like: Beetlejuice, Psycho, Poltergeist, Halloween, Carrie, The Birds, The Shining, Jaws, Nightmare on Elm Street, Scream, and The Exorcist
I love watching this! It just amazing classic horror films!! Some might be okay.. and Twilight needs to get the fuck out of here. But overall I love Horror Movies
Holy crap...I think I remember watching this with my mom when I was 6! I was soooo scared! Little did I know that I would grow up into a huge fan of horror movies, now looking back I can’t help but smile at all the films shown here! (Except Twilight)
Never in a million years would the producers of F13 think their low budget films would ever get a nod from the Academy.
the fact that you've uploaded this but the Oscars official youtube channel has not... smdh.
Fantastic tribute! Kinda wish I could see Final Destination in there oddly
I was like "They better have JAWS in here" and it was literally the first movie they used. You have my respect THIS time, Oscars.

It really hasn't :( otherwise Hereditary would have obliterated at the Oscars
Only proper that the Gecko brothers were in attendance.
Lo más cerca que estuve "Scream" de los Oscar

The Psycho theme
The horror movies of 70s and 80s were the best.
Horror movies almost never get Oscar nominated
The Academy really need to recognize more horror movies.

I LOVE HORROR MOVIES
As pessoas falam mal de filme de terror..algumas..mas esse gênero sempre vai existir...o sobrenatural sempre caminhou lado a lado com a humanidade !

To my memory it had been 9 years up to that time so Kristen Stewart was wrong
