Started a new uplifter a couple of days ago, really loving the sound of this one. Should have it wrapped by tomorrow night! Release in 6 to 8 weeks on my Trancessential label :)

Wrote a melody earlier and I have just started messing around with sounds. Really loving this melody. It makes me feel really happy! Looking forward to making this track in the next week or so and releasing it next year! Let me know what you think of the melody :-)

I got the urge earlier to start a remix of the first track I released back in 2020 called Quel'Danas. Only in the early stages at the moment but already shaping up to be really nice. Going for a harder version this time round but still uplifting! Looking forward to adding sounds and building the track next week :D

I love making trance melodies. In this video I use the Chord Pads to get my bass notes and scale (plus pads for breakdown) then make a melody from scratch using a straight arp. Using a bass pad to sit underneath the melody on your breakdown will add warmth and energy. In this video I add a bass pad and EQ it. It's all really simple! I recorded myself making this melody and may well add that video soon! Any questions about bass pads, feel free to ask in the comments below.

With my last track finished I'm straight onto this one. Had it sitting there for a good few weeks and now going to finish it off! Really like the feeling of this, very emotional.I got the idea using the Chord pads on Cubase initially then made a melody to work with it! This is another that will be out on my label in 2024.

Really happy with this for just over a days work. Will get a full day in on this tomorrow adding parts and improving the track. Should have this one done along with another track by the end of the week. Looking forward to getting this one out on my label next year :D

Thanks very much! I'm back to using Ableton to make my tracks now. I prefer the automation and built in FX. I'm still using Cubase for making melodies though as I love the piano roll much more than Ableton. The last couple of updates have been a bit on the buggy side for me too 🙂
