Hello,o2 sensor is pre or post cat? Ty
@@mateuszgajos9868 there is 2 o2 sensors. But I’m replacing the primary(pre cat) that one is responsible for the AFRs
No catchcan?
@@TeezhoSwag no but looks like I’m going to have to get one since I’m getting oil buildup in my intake
great tradesman, knowledge and easy skill ❤❤
Never saw a video for the adaptive suspension thanks for the how to
Would these same shocks work on an x drive model?
The rear shocks are the same part# but the front struts are different. Updated Part#s in the description!
Great how to.
great video keep up the great content
If I have the lowering springs would I be able to re use it with this bilstein shocks?
@@LeoCasimero03 yes anything your have on stock shocks you can reuse with Bilstein B6. They also have the Bilstein B8s which are for even lower spring
If you don’t mind me asking, where did you purchase your Bilstein shocks?
@ I got mine from bimmerworld. They have a discount on there as well
What were your reasons for this turbo and not the Daw X?
@JusGoody the mains one were power goal and spool. I wanted 600whp and this turbo can support it and it’s the fastest spooling for that. The ultraflow x spools slower. I’m glad I stayed with the flowmax since I ran out of injectors anyways. So unless you have the extra fueling you can’t make that much more power on the x
@ have you done the HP pump?
@ Yes i have the Dorch ds25... install video for that is on my channel
@@25mrsameer nice one. What’s your goal with the car power wise?
@ will do I’ve subbed, can’t wait to see the journey.
I’ve got daw 6769, so excited for the install. Last few pieces of the puzzle are otw.
@@kyledeleon9785 the install is bit of a pain but all worth it in the end 😁

This is the same turbo I’m planning on getting. Please upload videos on the tunes and revisions + dyno and draggy numbers!!! Super excited to see this build

Nice
Nice, waiting how ots map will handle it on pump and then in e40 🙏 good luck, p.s u are on 0w20? Is is not better on 0w30 or 5w30?
Going custom tune. It’s highly not recommended to run hybrid turbos on ots tune. I was on 0w-20 but I switched to 0w-30 right after changing the turbo. Dynamics autoworks says not to run 20 oil on their turbo.
@@25mrsameer prefer 0w30 over 5w30 yes? about custom agree.. but kern said its runs well on OTS too on GC
@ yeah I personally prefer 0w30 over 5w30 but they both run great. Main thing I would make sure is they are BMW LL01 FE and API SP
Never run an ots map on an upgraded turbo car!! Never. You will lean out and blow ur motor.
Nice man👍🏻
Were you running mhd stage2+ map with 93 octane?
Yes
@@25mrsameer it is weird, my f22 240i runs 8,6 sec with mhd stage 2 with 91 octane.
60-130 or 100-200?
@@25mrsameer 100-200 kmh
That is a fast time. Maybe lighter weight.
Excellent content mate ! Really interested in seeing the hp and torque figures. But more importantly the dragy times, seeing how much different there is between normal fuel and e40 👍🏼
@@nathanscaddan2297 yes sir stay tuned I’m working on it
Huge difference on e40 its so insane! Im on pure800 but with 98ron but limit is really the fuel tempting to go flex fuel 😂
@@lanevo night and day difference I would highly recommend e40 on the minimum but flex fuel just makes life easier
Jesus going to e40 is a huge difference 😂 tempting to get flex fuel kit 😂
it will good if you show us on this new turbo 93 vs e40 <3 on OTS map
@@berdzena8797 that’s the plan. Stay tuned!
@25mrsameer good luck, nice content will
Nice pulls, the difference with E40 is amazing, really tempted on getting the MHD FlexFuel kit, i can get 100% ethanol a little cheaper than the 93oct fuel to mix it with, already have the TU pump and downpipe, car actually also has a full Remus exhaust from the previous owner, did you got the xHP tune for this runs? not sure if it makes a difference in the dyno but it cant hurt. PS: Silly question, how high does your Sport display gauge go? on 93oct i have seen it go probably around 420hp, which seems a bit low for Stage 2+ but car still feels plenty fast for a daily driver, 2017 M240i
@@402Racing yeah flex fuel kit makes it super convenient. Before that I used to run the multi map and manually mixed the ethanol flex you kit definitely makes it easier. The XHP tune definitely makes your car shift faster and mainly removes the torque limit that is set into your TCU. Definitely wakes up the car. My sports display went around 420 a little higher maybe but it’s mostly a gimmick Imo don’t think it’s accurate. Dyno and draggy times are better.
Really intrestnig video! Nice to include the logs as well. Very interesting what could have caused the timing corrections on the 93 map. Maybe the fuel quality was just bad. New proper NGK spark plugs can also always help. I will sub to follow the process. What is your mileage btw?
@@joIVOjo2 the spark plugs have 15k miles on them just changed them along with the coils a year ago. Maybe they would make a difference but I think it’s gas quality. Car is sitting at 76k miles at the moment
Excited to see flowmax numbers on 93, canada sucks with no ethanol
That's not low WHP numbers, that's on the high/max for MHD OTS map. MHD says up 520HP on E40 S2 +HPFP, which is crank HP. I made 454RWHP and 471TQ on pretty much the same setup as you. I now have a DAW Ultraflow and custom (conservative) tune making 544RWHP, which is close to 600 crank. But like you said, dyno numbers are just numbers, what really counts is the 1/4 mile and 60-130 times.
@@j_tootie agreed! Dragy is definitely much more representative of real world conditions. I was mainly saying low because I ran less boost and timing on the dyno due to the weather.
Do you think you have more power with the intake? I think the stock intake make more power.
@@ALX_Offiziell aftermarket intake makes a little more power. Let’s the turbo breathe better.
xdrive?

Very, very good and informative, I am on the island here in Newfoundland, Canada, and limited to 91 oct, but sometimes use ethonal and little fun with 2nd stage 93 oct mhd ots map 😊
@@gamagreen1 ethanol is definitely the way to go with our cars. These higher compression motors do not like pump gas
Here from FB 💪🏾
Love this, very informative, looking forward to seeing your progress mate 🎉👍🏼
Interested to see how you go with the flowmax
Thats a dangerous amount of correction. Use a lower octane map.
@@michelhadid yeah I figured. I mainly run e40 and corrections are a lot better on that one usually 0 with the occasional -1 to -3. I’m also going to try higher quality 93 to see if that fixes it
Hey I got a dyno run today also what gear did you do your pulls in
@@brandongonzalez5992 I used 5th. I think you’re supposed to do 6th since it’s 1:1 ratio but it tops out at 170mph so you would usually run into the limiter. 6th gear should produce more power from what I’ve seen
Nice vid, Would the dorch hpfp have made much difference over a tu pump at this level?
@@legoman911 I doubt it. The TU pump can max out the stock turbo. I got the dorch since I’m going hybrid turbo
@ yep I figured the same, definite difference with hybrid though.
great content bro
You are getting hella timing corrections, you should use the lower octane mhd tune (stage2).
Was the car in Dyno mode? That will affect power output and prevent it from gearing down.
@@CCDsaChris yes dyno mode with dsc off. It only geared down if you floored it and hit the pedal switch
Want to see the result with the new turbo
Nice video
Awesome content mate, be interesting to see some drag numbers on both 93 pump and e40 blend. as well as the dyno numbers you've now got. then when you get the daws turbo fitted you can see how much faster it is as well as more power and torque 🙂
