Only a few people can understand what she is saying without criticising her. Why? Because it probably reflects your own self worth as well. You might have to cut your hair, stop wearing wigs, stop straightening/relaxing your hair, let go of some friends, boyfriend, whatever you do make sure to work on yourself internally and be 100% honest with your self esteem journey. ❤

I can relate to this 100%. I just cut off my waist length hair last night in the middle of wash day. My husband helped me shave it as well. My son is 4mo old and postpartum shedding had my hair shedding like crazy. I wanted to cut my hair off for the last 6 years when I had my first baby, but I was too scared. I feel so free now! Even just washing my hair,touching my scalp, feeling the breeze on my scalp feels amazing!! I no longer feel imprisoned by my hair.
