Loolinn U61 mini drone
This is a LooLinn U61 mini drone. I’m a late starter in the drone hobby so I need something to get started with. As I learn how to fly a little better I’ll post a few more videos on this drone. This was my first time using it.

My six s i ran two 5500 100c 3s batteries anz i blew my tires off the rims on full throttle
There are a lot of tires that just won't take the power of the Typhon on 3s. Using good CA glue helps. I kinda like the slow set glue then once I'm sure they are in place either give them time to set or hit them with activator.
@@RCModSquad it was stock tired I was 3/4 throttle and punched it and blew one tire completely off and tore the other s never seen anything like that

I'm sure that if you change de motor pinion to small other as 19T or less pinions, disappear the heating problems of force stock motor-esc system, but you need change the motor support to adjust motor-central shaft distance.

I just installed the Radiolink RC6GSv3 with R7FG into my 2010 E-Revo Brushless and right now learned that the R7FG does not support digital servos, only analogue, so it runs on 14ms I still have the stock dual TRA2075 servos which are digital (they just haven't broke yet for me ;o) can running digital servos at 14ms damage them or it just decreases the performance? kinda pissed, Radiolink do not disclose this anywhere, it's not on the product page, not in manual (only found it in some facebook reply from radiolink themselves) for monster truck with big tires for sure the digital servo is what you want
I'm actually not sure, sorry. I haven't tried any digital servos.
If you connect battery to car and car is on you need to know how to replace the esc

btw I ended up doing dual 21700 mod....since the operating voltage is 4.8v-16.8v I decided to go with dual 21700 as they are 5000mah so your 18650 mod was the inspiration for my 21700 mod ;o] I also upgraded my xtar 6slot 18650 charger to 4slot vapecell s6+ 21700 charger with 3A per channel so I can charge 2 pairs for the radio at once and pretty fast if I need to

Im pretty sure those philips screws that aren't philips, are japanese standard; JIS type screws. The drivers for these screws have much sharper tips. Thats probably why standard philips drivers don't get a lot of purchase on these screws! 😅
That's true and most people don't have a set. If you heat the screws you can extract them with a (made in China) US standard Phillips. 😉
I can't get the bottom screws out
They use some form of yellow glue rather than Loctite. It helps if you heat the screws up and be sure the screwdriver you use fits the screws correctly. You can use a soldering iron, by putting the tip directly on the screw for a while. I've also seen people use a small torch or a small nozzle on a heat gun.
Wont the centerbrace breake when doing big jumps?
I don't do a lot of jumps but I've never had any problems with the center brace breaking.

Here is an 80t amzn.to/45NmBWg and HBX does offer a 100t brushed motor. High turn brushed motors are popular to use in crawlers. They give a lot of low end torque and more control at lower speed.

I subbed your channel btw , doesn't cost anything 🫡 So , in rc for dummies , one unit of whatever comes out of the battery will take 100 turns to get to the other side , that means 17t motors are therefore faster in speed but low torque/muscle . On brushless , less kV means more torque and more kV less torque but much more speed .... So pretty much the opposite of one another ... well I guess both have their pros and cons... Great video!! Just to confirm... swapping the capacitor then solves the 3s issue? Or still wouldn't recommend?
+Will P sorry for the delay. I'm not getting notifications. No, the capacitor won't help with 3s. I don't recommend 3s on the stock setup at all. Some cars will run on 3s for a while and others die instantly. On some cars s it also destroys the steering servo.

Are those wheels 87mm?
The inside and outside are two different sizes so it has to have the matching tires to work. The rim is about 60mm outside and 105mm inside. Here's a link if you want to look at them. The image doesn't really show the rim. Mine have lasted well but you have to replace the whole thing. amzn.to/474HXzF

I went from stock 550 to this setup, but I honeslty dont like the initial cogging. I spent most of time on the trail go over rocks then on the weekend I have the dogs chase the car. Where you able to remove the coging completely? If I cant remove all together, I will look for good brushed setup.
I never tried to tune all the cogging out. It might come out but for what I do with the car it's not a problem. The 2845 and fairly high KV together was a bit much so a 3650 or a 2845 with a lower KV would work better. One option I haven't tried is using lower gearing. There are a few options for that but I just haven't had much free time for a long time. I do plan to get going in RC again soon I hope.

So overall, which is the best brushed engine for 144001? I am looking for crawling and go to the the trail, I am okay with stock top speed.
If you're interested in crawling I'd say to go with a higher turn motor. You might lose a little speed though. Maybe a 27 to 35 turn. If you want to get a little speed back you could change the ESC and bump up to a 3s LiPo.
@@RCModSquad I currently have the 2845 motor 3800 kvs, with 16BL30 ECU. It runs pretty fast. Way too fast on 3s. It is cool for bragging, but I hate the cogging I get when rolling from complete stop. I tried all setting on the card, and I can't seem to get rid of it completely. I miss the old 550 motor. When you say I should try at 27 or 35 turn, are you talking about the 550 brushed or the 540? I wish I would have found all your videos earlier. You've answered so many questions including me freaking out after installing the 2845 when I noticed it was going faster in reverse than forward haha. Thank you very much.
@@tjrick I'm happy it's helped a bit. Either the 540 or 550 would be fine. The 2845 in a lower KV like 3100 might help or you can go to a smaller pinion. That will slow it down and should get rid of the cogging also. With the smaller pinion it will have more torque and be more controllable at lower speeds. It also helps lower the temps on the ESC.

It does. It requires more current to get the car moving. Think of it like starting driving your car in second gear rather than first. It's a lot more work on the motor. The factory controllers are pretty basic so they aren't very versatile in terms of adjustment. You have to calibrate your finger unless you want to upgrade the electronics. :) Thanks for stopping by.
