This game is a horror movie. Trying to do this solo or with Randoms is damn near impossible. Waiting for the co-op campaign.

Loved the MoH storyline - one of my all time favorites in a FPS, with a ton of event- and history-based plot and lot of replay-ability. Also cool that they continued with some of those characters in the subsequent game with a strong emotional hook.

Awesome review. I'm a big fan of people who play games based on gameplay as opposed to graphics, because gameplay > graphics. I don't care about how many pores you can see on a character's face, if that game is pretty, but boring.

Yep the teams are so huge you can really just do your own thing without worrying too much about the objective

I love watching new people trying to figure this game out so here so more help (incase you do want to try the game again) Btw for the torches, they only effect lighting and doesn’t prevent mob spawns along with light for housing spaces, the problem you had when placing stuff there is actually 2 cursor modes smart cursor and normal, you swap between them by pressing ctrl (smart cursor works by placing it stuff to the closest available block to the cursor which fixes your problem) i really recommend just looking at the controls for the game as they can be rather important. The problem with housing situation you had is very normal as the people i bought terraria for normally took around 30 mins to make their first npc habitable house without my help. To describe the problem you had, there are background wall blocks and tile blocks (tiles being the ones you can touch) terraria is less of 2d and more of like 2.5d the background walls prevent mob spawning and is needed for npc viable housing along with a table/workbench a chair and lights, for doors you need to have a tile both below and above it. Ignoring all that and onto your main point, terraria does not hold your hand in any way that is true. Ive been playing for over 10 years and have over 3000+ hours on it, with my first play through taking over a year to beat (without outside help) i STILL use the wiki constantly to this day, granted its for less common knowledge but to terraria’s credit i would say ignoring the housing situation they help you through progression much more than minecraft. As they reward you by exploring, example being once you start gearing up after mining you will get a message on your screen mentioning a “evil presence watching you” in which will be your first boss you fight, once you beat that boss a new npc the dryad will come, which notifies you of the “corruption” thats spreading across the world, on which once you find it on either side of your world once you explore it you will find these weird orbs that serve a few purposes, 3 main ones being spawning the next boss, causing a invasion of your world to happen, and lastly a meteorite to fall giving you access to a new ore, terraria awards you greatly via just exploring and will get you through pretty much all of the game and especially prehardmode (will explain what that is later) you can beat terraria entirely by just playing the game and exploring, as their is never a time where it doesn’t give an indication on what to do next. although terraria is a sandbox, it has a much more linear progression compared to minecraft from killing a big slimy boy boss to fighting eldritch beings such as Cthulhu from space (not a joke) and apart of this progression is split between 2 modes, prehardmode and hardmode, you only reach hardmode after defeating a certain boss in hell in which doing so release good and evil into the world (corruption start spreading more and a new opposite to it appears on the world called the hollow which too will spread) along with new enemies bosses ect and some older enemies being buffed and given new abilities. I recommend everyone to try terraria but the game really isnt for everyone as if you want to complete the game in a timely manner you NEED help from the wiki, as not using a wiki takes the playtime per playthrough for a new player from 50-60 hours to 150-200 hours, as updates come along I really help they do more to help newer players as it would truly help the game thrive, as most people getting into the game essentially have a tour guide (a friend) to help them through the game.

When this came out in 04, this game set the standard. I remember playing it on a "decent Build" for a PC at that time and the graphics at that point where the best graphics I've ever seen. Also the shooting felt good compared to a lot of games at the time. One thing about the combat was that it was all about utilizing stealth was a big thing, why tossing rocks was a feature. Good game for it's time for sure.

I dont know. the patch brings alot of quality of life changes but at the same time the game feels easier to play cause your hitting more shots. I dont think it will affect comp that much if your already good. Great video man keep up the conent :)

One thing I could add is the most important Zarya combo, the BBB, Bomb+Beam+Bomb. Its an easy way to secure a kill, you start by firing a bomb at your target, make sure it hits on the floor beside the target, this will bump the target in a predictable direction, during this you beam it and when its reaching the floor again fire another bomb and you can secure more damage with a melee if you are in close range after the bomb (you can see this in one of my last videos "Overwatch 2 Zarya - Killing the entire team and staggering them"). Like you mentioned make sure to fire a bomb before reloading, also when playing your corners time you bombs to keep the enemy from advancing a corner easily, this will kill their momentum and make them easier to target for your team, the same can be done if the are trying to hide behind a corner. Make sure you fire a bomb before ulting, you gain additional damage and you can fire the ult with right away, no recovery time needed. Also make sure you learn all the bomb jump spots so you can always have an edge on the enemy team by positioning yourself in unexpected locations.
