I would pour it all in a bucket and use a paint mixer to stir it up real good

Any concerns about CWD grouping deer around a single source like that? Not judging just curious if you guys have thought about that since the video is a couple years old now and we know a lot more about CWD. Great video.

as a few guys said, cement mixer, and no need to buy one , rental center, rental much cheaper, for one time, a year use.

When you compact the block in the bucket would be a good time to include some type of anchor in case you have trouble with the blocks being rolled out of the camera view or rolled out of your shooting lane.

Is this to help the deer get through the winter or for bait so they can be killed?

You could also use a bigger distribution cup to add the ingredients so it wouldn't take as long to make a single batch. Just saying

has anyone tried using maple syrup with liquid molasses? just wondering how it worked.

  • @crossgrainwoodproductsltd9230

I will make this up. Minus the oil and corn syrup. The sugar and molasses and some water should be good enough of a binder. I like that you are helping the deer out during the winter. It is hit or miss with acorns each season, so a little extra is great. Come hunting season you boys send me a nice tenderloin off of the deer you get! Lol.

“Bushwacker” from Moncks Corner SC.: I enjoyed this video and will definitely be giving this mixture a try. I believe I may add a bit of vanilla to it as I understand that deer love the taste of vanilla.

This is a horrible idea. Read the weigh slip for the poultry feed. "DO NOT FEED TO CATTLE AND OTHER REMNANTS". Awesome way to kill deer......

Love trophy rock. We use them on the edge of our summer crop fields to get good pictures of Target bucks. We can hunt over bait in Alabama so the rock placement isn’t an issue here.
