Dr Simonson is the BEST!

❤❤❤Dr. Pflueger is an amazing surgeon and has the best personality!! He replaced both of my ACL’s. He had me back to Pow Wow dancing in a good amount of time. Wished he was still here in North Carolina.

Doctor Basset performed my anterior hip replacement April 11th, 2024 👍🏻👍🏻! On May 14th, 2024, I was able to swim for over an hour. I am also able to do the elliptical trainer at the gym for over an hour as well(yesterday). I began lifting upper body weights 4 days after surgery… First two weeks are no picnic, but, thus far, I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome😁😁😁…

Dr Bassett replaced both my knees. I am only one year younger than Israel, so, this was a tough decission - surgery @ my age? No sweat and I am enjoying my new knees. I had wanted the new device that does not require “gluing” the device into the leg bone. However, I wanted the device Dr Bassett felt would be the best for me (considering my demographic!) So, I got 2 of the “old technology”. I am fine with going with a device proven to be successful (again, considering my demographic), however, just any possibility I might out live the knee technoogy … I mean, if it goes out in 15 years, I definitely will be too old to risk suregry! I stressed over this until my wife set me straight: :” trust the one person who LIVES knees, and whose reputation a very important reputation, makes this kind of clinical choice with confidence.” When did SHE get so smart?! She’s right. and you should know too, that it’s awesome doctors now have a device choice for one's knee replacement! “Age” is not the only variable. I believe there are patients with a similar deographic to me, would do bettter with the new technollogy. This is one area where AI is NOT going to be definitive. When it comes to people - too many variables! So, I know now how important it is, to make the correct doctor choice, because, only a great doctor can handle the too subtle variables AI may never be able to handle, so in the end, it’s the great doc who will have my confidence re: the technology decision. Before this new device came out, the only choice was whether to do the procedure or not! Either one accepts the technology, or, one lives with bad knees. I am soooo grateful for Dr. Bassett’s expertise helpig me with this difficult decision!!! Thank you, Dr Bassett! because, the only thing better than "new technology", is a truly professionaly sound doctor. New stuff provides more options, but only a great doc can help one make a the right choice!!!
