Outstanding scenery, Michel. Technology has advanced a lot since 2012.. Time to do the flights again with a high Definition Camera. 1080 or 4K resolution.
Great video -thanks for sharing. I have a couple of questions: when you were sailing alone, how did you sleep and know you wouldn't collide with another boat (did you have some sort of radar alarm in the 90's)? Also: why was it important to avoid the fog?
I didn't had a radar, I had a clock that would ring every ten minutes. I would then stick my head out of the companionway and look 360 degrees and ... back on the bunk. But the year later, I bought a small radar and didn't had really use for it until one day, I left to cross the sandbanks of Netherlands but then, waiting for the high water, the night arrived and I had to sail further in a fairway with no lights. I then used the radar to see the radar reflectors on the buoys marking the narrow passage.
Hei Martin, takk for hyggelig kommentarer.
Perhaps but, as a pilot, I often hear ATC saying e.g. : "You have unidentified traffic at your five o'clock." Usually it is an ultralight aircraft or something like that. I thought that an oil tanker was more funny! ;-)
Beautiful video as usual Michael. You live in a beautiful part of our planet. I am interested in what application you use on your Ipad kneeboard and what camera you use for your videos.
Do you speak english? If you do I would like to contact you about learning to sail or becoming a sea farer.
awesome man. We should done this again...

Nice Vid!
Geiteryggen. Jeg flyr gjennom Geiteryggen luftområde hver gang jeg flyr til Fyresdal eller Lunde men har aldri stoppet der. Kanskje en dag.
I Vestfold? Skien? Hvor var det?
I traced the route on GoogleEarth and flew along. Thanks for the ride!
Nice video Michel. Well done.
Beautiful to see from the air! Thank you for sharing.
Great to see you back in the skies, Michel! Gotta do me some flying in Norway too - magnificent scenery!
Wow! Not many places to land in between.
