@Crack3drc I basically sprint, slide and dive 95% of every match. The Omni Movement changed a bit for us but I've been running full tilt with the super sweaty movement speeds since BO2. All my classes are speed builds also.

From and back motors? This is 2wd...that front motor is what they use for steering,hence why the steering is horrible

I'm making it myself. It's a work in progress,and I don't get the time I want to complete it yet,but I'll get to it. I'm trying to use readily available parts so that it's can do it as well.

Stock is brushed. The idea behind the upgrades I'm doing is cost related. In my mind you can upgrade this to the moon if you wanted,but it doesn't make sense if the truck costs $50! Trying to keep the cost low for the average person that might upgrade to spur interest In the hobby. Allot of people won't spend #1000 to get into a hobby(truck price plus upgrades, battery/fuel etc) so I tried to keep that in mind while making this video.

Might be! Allot of these cheap cars use the same parts, or some of them anyway. That isn't entirely a bad thing though, could be easier to get parts, etc.

I believe it's the stock pipe. Have you set your steering endpoints? I'm using a DS5160 35kg servo from Amazon. This buggy is pretty lite, unless your servo is bad, I would try the endpoints!

It does. When I get time to finish the thing, I'll get mine done. All I have left is servo fitment and arms really. Just need some time to get on cash and design an adapter plate to hold it together.

I ended up getting the DJI osmo 4. Playing around with it recently and love it! So far, no heat issues! It does get hot, but after 45 mins it so in direct sun! GoPro just didn't cut it... Don't think I'll ever be back since my cheap $20 dragon touch Vista 5 easily dies what the go-to can't! Just wish it had 120 frames 4k.

@colton7212 I love it so far! Tested it in full sun several times now for over 1 hrs each and no overheating! Plus the quality is just amazing!

@@Crack3drc What kind of glue would you use so that you can get the screws back out if you have to ??

I use a mild tire glue. Anything you use will give you issues,just be easy. And when applying the glue, a little goes a long way! I would rather add more later than not be able to release it when I need to! Alternatively,I've had success using the jbweld plastic bonder. It is basic like plastic joiner, pretty strong.

Honestly, I would buy from Amazon or amain. And for your budget, maybe a arrma from(which is much smaller) or something similar. You could also catch a good deal on FB marketplace and get a 1/10 used rc for what your budget is. @@Crack3drc most upgrade parts are really poor quality unfortunately I loved this truck but eventually moved on as could never get it to track straight I wish you luck and pass on anything that does work for you 🤟

Yes, and I actually found it pretty difficult to break anything! I was pretty rough on the MT when I first got it,taking large jumps etc...just abusive driving. I did break something, maybe an arm i can't remember at this point. But the truck is solid, and durable! You won't be disappointed if you get one.

Excellent. I found that the Rampage XT shares many parts of the XB

Do you use a kill switch on these guys?

@Ericdagreat you should, but I haven't been able to get a decent one in a long time. I just watch my volts in-between runs and either charge if necessary, or shut it down till I get home. I usually bring several with me so it's no biggie if I have to sit one out

@Ericdagreat the XT is a good platform, but I would upgrade to the Mt parts on all arms, knuckles, and shafts.

I'm still working on getting comfortable at 80+. I'm getting there,but I don't plan to reach any faster speeds until I am ready for it. It's plenty fast the way it is, and hella fun! But...I always want more lol... So I know I will eventually. Until then, having a ball!

I am convinced myself! This little truck is just amazing! I didn't even know i wanted one until i was contacted about reviewing one! By far the best review i ever did, and to this day i still run this truck! It always puts a smile on my face!

The rampage models are done of my absolute favorite 1/5 trucks! Since of the best, if not the best redcat model they ever made IMO! I know steel city rc has a nice belt drive, and it rubs great on that! I really want one myself! I think it will solve some issues, and increase performance

@@Crack3drc I get that, I own 5 rc gassers of all kinds, but the rampage is special. It can be the XT truck, XB buggy (as I have now converted mine to), and XR rally, just too cool! Something to keep in mind- this platform is at least 10 lbs. lighter than any other 4wd me or my friends own, that's a BIG deal! The XT comes in around 23lbs. ready to go, lighter than an xmaxx, 15lbs lighter than a T5, almost 20lbs. lighter than my friends Vektas! Don't know how they do it. For the life of me I can't figure out why Redcat has'nt re-released these, everybody loves them. And 15 years ago there was a German company that made an excellent 2 speed for these, out of biz now sadly...

Yeah, I think that guy died, at least that's the story I heard. Ready still makes these, just not the Dunerunner & XB models. I have an xb, Mt,& Dunerunner. I've converted the Dunerunner to electric, but the other two are still gas. I enjoy all of them! The trucks are just awesome IMO!

All good info! What would you suggest for a Venturi on this setup?

@@Crack3drc 1107 is 13.5mm Venturi so finding something with a 15mm Venturi would likely be ideal especially if it’s a well ported machine. With something in the 15mm range it would still have snappy throttle response but make a noticeable gain in over all power. Anyways food for thought. Enjoy your day 👍

Same arms! All I did was slam it down really. I bought bandit arms just in case, but I didn't have to use them! It's a sweet ride on nitro! I didn't really care for the electric version... To lite
