Good point that we undermine the Scriptures if we apologise for its contents - it means we use our culture as a standard to judge Scripture, not the other way round as it should be.

@@Dirk80241 On one hand I agree with DC on this point. On the other hand it can also be a witness opportunity: Even if we do not understand God's ways, and feel like we have to apologise for the biblical message, we still decide to stick God's Word, because He is God and we are limited, sinful human beings.

Which gods of Genesis 1? Genesis 1 is ELOHIM (Lucifer and the fallen angels). They made this realm. They made man in their image. (tares) Man is an idol, a trap to hunt angels. Genesis 2:7 the Lord God forms His representative in their system. (wheat) One Gospel: Gospel (GOOD ANGEL) of Reconciliation. Jesus Christ came into THEIR kingdom to reconcile fallen angels unto Himself. We are the fallen angels (ELOHIM) kept in DNA chains of darkness. If you do not confess being a fallen angel in Lucifer's kingdom, then you are an unbeliever. Unbeliever = those that claim to be made in the image of ELOHIM(gods). REPENT FALLEN ANGELS.

And we can have days of heaven on earth and be healed and prosperous and have all the advantages of the future kingdom when Jesus is physically present. Singing about this hope will bring those things into manifestation. Also....did you really have to bring up "prosperity gospel." Guys there is no "prosperity gospel" Prosperity is a kingdom benefit from Genesis to Revelation.

So if as you say the pope is and always will be the biblical antichrist, would an antipope be the anti-antichrist or how does all that really work?🤔

Wow! I love this! So interesting thoughts! I'm an atheist like my mother but I really enjoy listening religious people because God, whoever he is, gives them completely different ideas than non-religious people's ones. And that ideas are as cool as ideas of well-known people! I very like it. I'm not a singer or song writer or composer, but I want to be a writer (not songs😅) and I started to try last year. I wrote only two little story and understood that I can't write without inspiration. It was sad but not awful. I really like that stories and I'm glad that I could create something good. Creativity is a really good topic for discussion. Personally, I have never even thought about it! Just like... Yeah, we have it. So what? But I extremely liked the notice in the episode: God had been created the Earth for 6 days. I knew it but I've never thought about it in this context. But it was right notice. You can't create something in one second, even the very God couldn't do it. You should several times return to your creation and work with it, correct it and perfect it before it will be perfect. Only after that you can publish your novel/song/art etc.

I have no respect for a man claiming to be a Christian while he has continuously pushed Tim Keller's Romanism agenda. Shame on anyone not calling out Carson for embracing the dead heretic. Keller did not preach the pure gospel, but instead, pushed men and women toward Rome. "The just shall live by faith" and pushing Romanism is contrary to this gospel statement. Rome's gospel is the just shall live by infusion of works and grace.

@@rekcorii This would make sense if you are a Roman Catholic. O dont misunderstand; Keller is honored by Carson. No doubt about it. Nevertheless, blind ignorance is rampant in the visible church. Once again, here is an example of religion mirroring politics when it comes to "pals" and defending their gross actions. I suppose you think it would be a great idea for Elijah to reach across the aisle to the prophets of Baal and extend a welcome to them as well? That is what Keller did with Romish theology and pagan philosophers. That being said, Keller was a Romanist. The gospel coalition has become a cesspool. He directed men toward a false gospel. Quoting from the heretic Lewis and other antichrist philosophers which is normally asinine. But it proves his convictions. He pushed a Marxist gospel, but I dont quibble over Marx because that is what Rome wants. Their red herring. The Trinity Foundation has done sufficient articles to validate my claim (not counting the numerous others who warn of his antinomianism. ) So boo hoo.

@@Sarah-vs-Hagar I think it's fine to criticize the theology and actions of people like Tim Keller, but not in the way you show here. Also, my $0.02 opinion is that many US Christians are too quick to label those who stand up for the poor and needy as 'Marxists'. IMHO they just want to hold on to their idols of individualism & consumerism. (I'm not from the US)

I personally feel that pastors were cowards for closing their churches and perpetuating the fear created and maintained by governmental bodies. Generally it was the laptop class that came through this experience with a positive outlook. Many lost businesses, income, friends and family relationships. I have a neighbour whose marriage broke down during the lockdown who subsequently took his own life. There is something jarring about hearing these guys talk about how it was positive for their own families.
