I always looked forward to the 4th of July, Independence Day, just to sing this song at church. Unfortunately, for the last 7 years this has not been sung. #babyelephantwalk has always been a favorite of our kids when they were little. They loved dancing around the house when their dad played this song. Now our grandkids do the same. Fun song by #bearofmelody

When the sequel to #Manfromsnowyriver came out, all of my kids and myself were very sick. After baths we curled up in front of the tv and watched both the first and second movie. Even though kids were little, they liked the movie, or maybe just the horses. By the end of the day we were all feeling a whole lot better. I've loved #jessicastheme ever since. #bearofmelody does a super job on this piece. Can listen to it for hours on end. Brings back great memories.

One of the family favorites, as well as primary children. Was able to introduce this song to our primary and unfortunately was unable to attend the Sacrament meeting where they were able to sing this. There were many compliments on the children's singing. The primary kids are much older now, but still love it. #gethsemane

Our son introduced us to this melody of this song. Love this version played by #bearofmelody. He was able to play it for one of our ward choirs, and it was performed very well. Other choir directors were intimidated by it, unfortunately. Now we can listen to #forthebeautyoftheearth anytime.

This was always a favorite. When I was little, my mom had to put on a Stake Primary Presentation and she had me and another boy from the stake sing this song with a Primary Teacher. It went over very well and many people loved my mom's presentation. She was also a great primary teacher, just like her mother. Was very happy when they added this to the Congregational Hymnal.

My high schools drill team/pep club did a march to this song for half time bb. The lights were dimmed, and they used flashlights at key points in the song to illuminate the gym. It became an annual favorite march, and even other high schools drill teams started performing this march. It was awesome to watch. It would have been a lot more awesome if this was the version from #bearofmelody that we performed too.

My sister-in-law passed away in November, and #Bear of Melody was able to play this at her funeral. It was beautiful. This version is so much better, but probably not quite as appropriate to play this on a speaker at the funeral. #thelordismyshepherd

I didn't realize Edvard Grieg was a Norwegian composer and pianist. My great-grandfather was born in Norway. I'll always think of his daughter, my grandma, now when I hear this song #morningmood . It is lovely performed by #bearofmelody

#quietvillage According to Wikipedia "Quiet Village" is an orchestral pop instrumental that was written and originally performed by Les Baxter in 1951. Baxter described the themes he was conveying in the work: the jungle grows more dense as the river boat slowly makes its way into the deep interior. A snake slithers into the water, flushing a brilliantly plumaged bird who soars into the clearing above a quiet village. Here is a musical portrait of a tropical village deserted in the mid-day heat. In the mid-1950s, Martin Denny and his band performed at a restaurant in Oahu, The Shell Bar, and frequently would play Baxter cover songs. One night, while his group was performing, Denny realized bullfrogs were croaking along to the music. As a joke, the band began incorporating frog sounds and birdcalls into the performance. Soon after, people began requesting "the song with the frogs." "They really enjoyed the frogs!" Denny observed. "And they thought we were making those croaking noises. So I understood that this was the way to go."
