Shoebill stork gets rejected 😔
This is a video I took today at Jurong Bird Park, Singapore, where a pair of shoebill storks, male and female, has been resident since 2018.
One shoebill stork (presumably the male as it's bigger) attempts to approach and court(?) the other shoebill after bill clattering and repeatedly bowing. But the other ain't having any of it! Boy needs to up his game, obviously 🤭 Maybe a little more bill clattering?!
