Preshitha - the missionary province based in Coimbatore - ignited by the spiritual brilliance of the founding fathers, is celebrating six decades of ministry. In the 31st General Synaxis (GS XXXI) of 1979, the Coimbatore region was elevated to a Vice-province, and on 11th March 1979, the headquarters of the Coimbatore region was officially established under the name 'Little Flower Mission Centre' at Little Flower Monastery, Saibaba Colony. On 22 May 2004, the 35th General Synaxis (GS XXXV) of the CMI congregation elevated Preshitha Vice-province to a Province.
