Wonderful
Thank you!
You make Bartok sound so easy. Thank you for teaching me Dr. Takacs!
Thank you for the kind words and you’re welcome!
Bravo 👍🎶🎺
Hello, just a question did the windworks course with greg spence helped you or not ?
Really fine, William and Mila, I enjoyed it a bunch!!
Very nicely played!
I wish our band camp did this.
EFFORTLESS
Freaking insane! Awesome work. I tried to follow along in my Arban's book but failed. -__-'
Aww! No high D! haha
Thank you very much. You can find the music in the back of the Arban book where the solo section is.
I appreciate your comments very much. Careful listening can be a huge part of learning a piece. What part of Florida are you from? I went to Florida State.
Thank you! I don't know if there is a specific name for that technique. It's kind of like a "moto perpetuo"or perpetual motion passage combined with exercises that Arban included starting on page 91 that he called "Prepatory Exercises on the Turn". These can really help in the execution of that section.
The was some superb trumpeting! Regarding your last variation Dr. Takacs, starting at 7:39....What is the musical term given to that accenting technique which gives the listener the impression of two trumpets playing? I have been searching the the name of that for some time.
This is the hardest song a trumpet player can play if you can play this you are a master!!!!!
That's very high praise - I'm flattered! Sergei is the man, though, one of the best around!
Thank you very much!
Honestly it sounds better than Sergei
Awesome
Ez nagyon jó. (This is very good)
@vysuvius Thanks!
man Dr. Takacs you still amaze me to this day with this song
@UrItalianStallion It's a tough one!
и это профессор oO произведение сложное, конечно, но играет он его как-то криво)
@mrben772 Thank you very much! Very nice of you to say!
@LezFetz keep practicing!
Respekt :-) Super gespielt ich übe jetzt auch schon 2 Monate dran ...
@xaviercastella Thank you so much for your kind words.
@rvzoo23fs Thank you very much!
Nice performance, congratulations. For those who detected some (small) mistakes, just try to play it in public... if there is not a high difficulty in the sequence of notes, intervals are sometimes high and the tongue work is exhausting. Playing this *is* a performance. I'm happy to see that this funny air i learned 30 y ago with my french teatcher in Paris is still played... overseas.
@periosa174 I'm not sure where it originated, because I'm pretty sure it's just a traditional folk tune, but this theme and variations arrangement was written by Jean Baptiste Arban (big pink book dude)
@wjtakacs Thank you very much. I will be sure to look for it :)
no esta mal, pero hay momentos en los que desafina y otros en los que falla en el doble picado. pero buen intento d todos modos
@justinallnbob If you have an Arban book, you can find it in the solo section near the back. If you don't have one, search a popular sheet music webiste like sheet music plus for it. I bet it's not too expensive.
Hey ^_^ I know this might be a bit much to ask, but how much does it cost to buy this variation? I've been looking for a good one and this sounds like fun =D so if you could tell me a websight to find an arrangement to purchase I would greatly appreciate it ^_^
i will do my best!!:)
Just keep working! Time and efficient practice will get you there!
im working on this right now and it is sooo..... hard!! ~Trumpet~
Thank you!
Thank you! It's by Jean Baptiste Arban.
Thank you very much!
