Boss health bars are an interesting decision. Do you want the player to know exactly how close they are to winning? Do you show the name of the boss as a way to sneak in some extra story? Where does the bar go? For Demon Crush, we've stuck with our "wordless" style, but we animate the bar and the boss icon to show what's going on the fight. Our favorite touch is the fire in his eyes lighting up...

Ninja Spirit had CRAZY action back in the day! Demon Crush plays a little closer-up, but the feeling of being in constant motion is still there. Thanks!

Good question! The current plan is for the Switch version to come out as close to the Steam release. A physical release is something we want to do, but we'll have to see how the numbers look when we get closer.

Yeah, there are a ton of roguelikes and metroidvanias, and no slight to them, but we wanted to see more hand-crafted, action-heavy experiences. So here we go!
