Very, very pleasantly surprised! It's that thing where someone you're friends with knows someone in a band and insists they're amazing, but you listen or go to the gig and find that they're shite...except in this case, quite the opposite is true. Excellent track from start to finish - structurally and melodically, specifically - but that breakdown riff is just fucking outstanding; equal parts Soundgarden and The Melvins in one deliciously deadly groove. Top notch all 'round, hopefully you'll get 'round to uploading some more material as I'd love to hear your heavier stuff.
Haha we can definitely relate to that! Thank you very much! It's always nice to be appreciated and to hear the views of someone who obviously 'gets it'.
