Great song
Beautiful song. Jackson does it so well❤❤❤❤❤❤
Vert nice. Thank you.
Imagine you're the best looking, the youngest and the best songwriter of one of the most influential movements in music history...thats the Jackson Browne.
The best
What a sweet and kind way to say goodbye to a loved one with whom your relationship has just run its course . “ There’s a train every day leaving either way, there’s a world you know .” “ This is my opening farewell.” What a brilliant way to say farewell.
The verses are haikus.
I keep thinking I'll find what I'm looking for
Fly away Linda Paloma❤️
Such a song to reproduce with what? ...two guys? ....outside the studio? Yet they captured the sound and the vibe of the original perfectly! Bravissimo!!!
Glad I found this. 5:43 5:43 Sure miss David.😢. Up and going to bed needed to hear CJB And found this. Love. I actually been working on this one. Love Bonnie Raitt and your duet. I am jealous lol. So I was just doing her parts with my harmony. I can't imagine a break up. I was blessed. 33 yrs married. He died after 8 yrs fighting C of the of the stomach Liver etc. died at 51. Damn fine singer songwriter. 33 years married he taught me so much we did so many of CJB songs. He's been gone now 15 yrs. Seem like just a few years. Miss him dearly. The idea here for me is I could never go thru a break up..knowing he's there with another woman. Id be crazy. It's best he died much easier To survive that kind of grief. Id have that swimming pool full of tears. Smh. Hope you and the family are all well. Thanks for this song. 🎶❤
First heard Jackson's music in summer of 1974? while driving across the desert and this Utah-based radio station "stereo X" played his Saturate Before Using album straight through "without commercial interruption." And have loved his music ever since. Jackson's early albums are all precious gems - they shine every time you listen to them and just as brightly (or more) than when you first heard them. Colors of the Sun has always resonated with me. It has an understated emotional current that always lifts me higher and higher - evoking that kind of "bursting out of your chest" phenomenon. Despite whatever shortcomings or flaws Jackson Browne may have been accused of in his personal life, there's no question he is one of the greatest and most influential artists of our generation. I truly feel blessed to have witnessed his "artistic arc" first-hand. Thank You Jackson for enriching my life!

Fly away...........
Such a beautiful gem! The first time I heard the original version it gave me goose bumps. The lyrics, the instrumentation & the mellow Jackson Browne's tone is a total piece of art! God Bless you, Jackson!
I love this.
Like Patty Loveless 🎶🎶🎶 Connie Smith and Christy Mcvie what a voice 🎶🎶🎶 wooooooo Johnny from Alabama 🎶🎶🎶 wooooooo

Love this song.❤️
RIP David Lindley
RIP DAVID
❤🎶
His most eloquent and meaningful song.
He is such a sweet guy to change up his play list for the dudes shouting “sleep’s dark and silent gate”🤗☮️💜
Ah, back when video was recorded on Scotch tape. Not Scotch VHS tape, Scotch sticky tape.
Good song
Bravo! Bella Bella Bella!
Bravo bravo bravo...Bravissimo....
So beautiful. Who else could do this with just a guitar besides Jackson browne
Elvis Castelo 🫶🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
His voice is the same as was in 1976. Beautiful song.
Each time I hear this It brings a tear to eye from the album the pretender...🇲🇽🇺🇸🇨🇦
One of his most beautiful and poetic songs.
My all time favorite musician! Everyone else is second... Depends on the day.
আমি একা কাঁদবো...স্থির জলের নীচে...তোমার ভালোবাসা চলে গেছে... Lyrics: Beneath still waters There's a strong undertow The surface won't tell you What the deepwater knows Darling, I'm saying I know something's wrong Beneath still waters Your love is gone Even a fool could see That you'll soon be leaving me But each and every heart Must take its turn at misery And this time it's me And I'll cry alone Beneath still waters Your love is gone Even a fool could see That you'll soon be leaving me But each…

Great song
Volumn. Turn up the volume. That said, I love this live version better than the album.
Thanks for posting! If you have a minute, we uploaded some original blues songs. As fellow music fans, we'd love if you'd take a listen. It's on our page. Don't go too hard on us :)

Thank you for this video. One of my favorite Songs. I saw Jackson and Bonnie do this and love it. I’ve seen Jackson 5 times and he always listens to his fans requests. Incredible artist. Saw David solo a few times and he is an amazing artist. Thank you!
Thank you for your comment. I had an autograph session at David's concert and got his autograph.
rock fan clasic . This is one of the true renditions, the way i think Jackson expected it to be played , as he played it here and as he played it originally. Thank you for your effort.
Just rediscovered this song. So lovely.
thanks
rock fan classic. This is great. Part of “the tour” with Bruce Hornsby and all of the other great performers. I’ve been looking for “the tour” and this is part of it. Thank you for what you do.
This song comes to mind every time I walk into a Mexican restaurant that has mariachis. Linda Paloma legendary Jackson Browne
Thanks for your comment. I used to travel from Japan to Los Angeles, but not Mexico. Very disappointing
This song comes to mind whenever i drive from Tucson to Yuma on route 8 and i see the exit sign for Paloma!
This is so amazing It can be challenging to keep going with our own creative pursuits, but this is definitely an inspiration for my music.
Thanks for sharing! If you have a second, I recorded a cover of 'True Colors'. As a fellow music fan, I'd love if you would take a listen. It's on my channel. Hope you enjoy. Don't go too hard on me :)
Congratulations Bruce , everyone with Biden and kamala.
