Each year, Beyond Vision hosts Shot In The Dark. It's a 9-hole shotgun scramble golf tournament that starts just before sunset fades into night. The course will be outlined with strings of lights and glow in the dark golf balls.
Each year, 100% of this fundraiser directly supports the programs & services of Beyond Vision. Shot In The Dark is a unique opportunity to support the local blindness community. Experience a small sense of what it might be like to become visually impaired. Your attendance ensures that we will be able to continue our mission of combatting the nearly 70% unemployment rate among jobseekers who are blind.

Wow, that is great to know ... and strangely no comments since 2022 !!! and just 2 likes (errr including mine) I had setup a company (for a short time ...becuase it quickly failed) and my first thoughts was that EVERRYONE has skills. Key word is "everyone". I met a person on "Club House" and he was completely blind from birth and a machinist in a watch factory for all his life till retirement.
Damn I missed white cane day in my videos. shoot. Nice video but I have a suggestion. When doing a video for the blind try to tape it when multiple diesel trucks are driving by. As a blind person who cannot read Closed Captioning I have no idea what that woman in the first part of the video was talking about. I heard LBJ followed by noisy street followed by white ca-noisy street- and so on. Yall do good work and I praise you for it. Please dont take my words as me being mean. I am just giving you constructive Criticism. Be well and continue to strive to live the life you dream :)
