@@sunshinelight5329yes, monsters will eventually turn into neohumans. But in this case, hyunsu can turn monsters back to humans. At the end before they decided to relocate to green home, chanyoung and hyunsu were driving trucks full of the people who became monsters because of yisu. I believe yeongsu was one of the ones hyunsu were able to turn into human again.

So Eunyu became a monster. We couldn't see it because we only saw the scene when she hugged her brother but that was like the fantasy all monsters are living in. So we saw what was going on in her head, what she could see. And then she transformed into a neohuman. The scene on the rooftop may happened shortly after turning into a neohuman. And that's the reason why she didn't return back to the other survivors and looked at Hyunsu with no emotions. Her feelings are gone and she has to find back to becoming a human with all her emotions. And that's why Hyunsu and her brother are waiting for her on the rooftop, because they know that one day she will return to being a human like her brother got his emotions back. That knowledge makes them happy and that's why they smile even though she isn't herself right now. At least that's my interpretation. I'm sorry for my weird grammar. English isn't my native language.
