The drill bit needs to be resharpened or a pilot hole should be done first. Otherwise I think they do good work.

With lathe machine they did inner circle out of center of outer boundary.

With some investment they can produce easily quality products. Unfortunately they are doing much work less production.

The hole was made concentric with the molding curves by the press, but the slack lathe operator ignored that and bored out the hole off centre. Rim holes were marked out not tangentally centred for no particular reason. Pretty rough work. Cumbersome inefficient manufacturing process.

And i just don't see any amazing skills. Hard work? Certainly! But nothing but simply operating machinery.
