I was taking a ride in the middle of a serene quite beautiful country side, in the Bac Ninh area, about 30km north of Hanoi. The day was quite nice, sunny, the usual burning of home trash and agricultural trash, so of course, the ar is never clean to breath and really enjoy the outdoors, when all of the sudden I arrived at this apocalyptic scenary of endless warehouses like buildings, surrounde...

Tam Coc Bird Park 1 9 24

I had visited Tam-Coc many times throughout my time in Vietnam, but never had I visited its bird sanctuary. So when the opportunity presented itself on the day of the National holiday (Sept. 1st), I jumped on my bike and drove the 3 hours path to visit. One thing I forgot was how crowded the national parks of Vietnam are during national holidays, though.

Phu Quoc, best one
Very very beautiful video super 👍
You have got to be kidding. You seriously think the Sorrento SunGroup is the most beautiful development on the island! Vietnam is a beautiful country with stunning natural beauty yet you think a tacky pseudo European knockoff is beautiful and a good thing. Seriously!!!
I think you misunderstood me. I hate all the development taking place on Phu Quoc, and in Vietnam. They destroy nature in alarming rate and for what?
Don't worry it will grow back lol
Already did. This was filmed in February

Hello. This is Sonali from Mumbai, India. I visited Vietnam 3 years ago and documented the journey. Currently working on vietnam vlogs, came across your youtube video while searching for footage of Phu Quoc island. Can you please allow me to use your footage in my video? Credits will be given. Please let me know as soon as possible.
OK
All the world is developing . VN can not to stay behind . You can't ask VN to be under developed forever to suit your egoist pleasure . Many westerners still like to see the Vietnamese people living in huts and thatched cottages and walking on muddy roads . They are definitely not happy to see a country like VN to be more modern and developed . For them only European and North American countries are allowed to have modern housing and developed infrastructure . Why don`t you tell the government of your country not to build modern buildings , luxury hotels , nice beach resorts , new highways , bridges , airports or other infrastructures . BTW which country are you from man . What are you currently doing in Vietnam . Are you a backpacker or a digital nomad here
There is a big difference between needed development, building houses for growing population, and better infrastructure, although, even that has to be done in a smart, planned way, and building in every available location for no other reason except for greed, to invest in real-estate in hope of doubling your money by selling to the next sucker that'd jump on the wagon of the bubble, before it bursts. That is what I am talking against. In my trip I saw so many projects built on the beach that are destroying the environment not for the good of the whole population, but for the good of few rich people, while in the meantime, destroying the environment for all the rest of the population. Those projects remain empty, and would exchange hands for more money, until the bubble bursts. That is not development. That is destruction, and clearly there is no real planning by the government to ensure the grater good of the whole country. I suspect it ensures the greater good of a few connected people and of course the officials who approved all that. If you want to see where this is headed, all you have to see is take a look at what's going on in China these days. BTW, in my country there are rules that do not allow to build anything closer than 300m from the beach, in order to save the beaches which are believed to belong to EVERYBODY, and not only to those who can afford them. So? Is that stopping development? Development is good, if you do it with proper guidelines and planning, and not in the wild, lawless way it is done in Vietnam.
@@guyhanoi8561 I agree some investors are taking advantage of the real-estate booming in VN . but not all of them . Even in Western countries there are lots of those people as well. VN is an emerging country , we need to develop our infrastructure to improve the standard of living of our people and our national economy by attracting local and foreign investors and promotors . Do you think seriously the American , Japanese , South Korean , Singaporean and European businessmen would stay in a hut with no comfort when they come to VN to do research before they invest their money here . Do you know any tourist who would spend their vacations in a slum . VN still has plenty of untouched green natural sites and the government only allows new constructions in some carefully planned areas . Each province has its own economical park . People can not build chaotically anything/anywhere they want like you are thinking . You are just a visitor , and don`t know much about our government's policy and our people 's need , so keep your critic for your own country . BTW you didn't tell me which country you are from , but by your accent and your first name Guy , I guess you are probably from a French speaking country

I thought the VN government not allowed drone plying?
Doing great. Nice to follow you on your journey. Looking forward to going back to Vietnam in the near future.
I would be more concerned with flying that drone without a permit. If caught the police can confiscate the drone, the phone and possibly deport you especially if you are near a government building or military area.
True. I try to keep away of those areas, and always fly as candidly as possible, the more isolated, the better. I did happen to fly once in Long Bien, next to to what turned out to be a reserve army base, they sent someone to check me out, and luckily, I got away with a warning, and I ran the hell away from there.
Totally off track destinations, so interesting to watch! Thanks for sharing!
Thanx for watching. Hope you enjoy.
Doing great. Your videos are getting better. I hope you are bringing in people from other social media platforms. Network and share your link.
Thanx. I get a lot of practice :) But, I don't think that too many people are watching those videos, as much as I would like more people to enjoy them. I am happy that at least you do. I don't really know how to promote myself.
A hostile in Ha Tinh!
Wow, the north of Vietnam is as grey as the UK.
Yes, in the winter time, a cloud sits on the area and it's cold, and you forget what the sun looks like, or that the skies are blue (living in Hanoi, you forget that all year round because the air pollution dilutes the deep blue color of the sky to pale blue-white, even when it's not cloudy).
The metro line could have been completed in 3 years, unfortunately it had been delayed repeatedly for political reasons and bureaucratic harassments. It was reported that the builder of the metro line lost money as the result. Hopefully it won’t create problems for the future cooperations between the builder and the City of Hanoi.

Just curious, as you wandering alone like that does the wife get jealous? 😅
The wife is pregnant, and in any case, she is not the one to take those kind of trips on a motorbike even when she isn't, unfortunately...
I just came across this video and really enjoyed it. I am from New York but living in Saigon for about 30 years with my wife where we remain. Before retiring I had a little branch office in Hanoi where I would go often. I love village life all over Vietnam especially in the north. I will go to this village when I go to Hanoi next time. The smile of the lady at the mien place is the reason for staying in Vietnam all these years. I met my wife who is Vietnamese in New York in 1976. We are now married 45 years. Its been great!
Thank you very much. I am glad you liked it. I put a lot of effort and time into those videos and it's nice to see that someone likes them. I am editing now a series of videos from my last motorbike trip from Hanoi to Danang, you are welcome to follow it. Enjoy.
