I downgraded from 582s to 503s. Love the simplicity & can deal with less hp. Great video! Afew more camera angles would help but that's okay! Camera angle was good but you could've pushed it a bit more left. Great audio. No problems. I used a throat mic long ago. It's the best in clarity. Correction! You did have other camera angles! Sorry! I spoke too soon. Good job!

@@TheMainePilot You're welcome! Give a throat mic a try if you care. It'll cut out 90% of extraneous noise....at least the one I had did. Don't know why I stopped using it? Strange. I'll go back to it though. Good luck.
Hello, I see you fly the Flightstar, I know they don't make them anymore, but it looks like it's a good plane, I would like your opinion on how you like your plane? probably will keep in eye on one of these
I have nothing but good things to say about this airplane,I completely enjoy it,it is however an ultralight so you must watch the winds and weather! I absolutely love it! A joy to fly,if you’re interested in this kind of flying I highly recommend it! Thanks for watching!

@@TheMainePilot I enjoyed it I was flying my 140 Piper with no autopilot coffee grinders and a handheld GPS with weather last time I took off was 400 ceiling up to 2000 ft with my wife on board it was a little nerve-racking lol happy flying

Nice video! Maybe you didn't get a stunner of a sunset but it was a pretty sky. The paramotor crew is hoping to fly tomorrow evening and if the forecast holds we might fly out over Biddeford airport on our way to Biddeford Pool. We launch & land at a turf farm 7 miles just about due west of B19. Maybe we'll see you up there. Not sure what your instrument situation is but we use a phone app called Gaggle. It has SafeSky integration (poor man's ADS-B?) and you can see where your buddies are on the moving map. Might help you keep track of Roger ;) It's by subscription but there is a free version that has almost the full set of features.

So from what I’ve been told and from research the airplane is mid 90’s FlightStar Spyder,and the engine is a ROTAX 503!

@rccanuck4473 We Stopped in Mississippi cause of thunder Storms after 7.5 hrs and a stop in Ohio for fuel,Than another 5.5hrs to McAllen Texas.
Fought 30mph head wind all day…it was slow going even getting 125-130 pts ground speed.

A lot of trust in a Rotax engine. They were horrible in snowmobiles
I’m constantly looking for a bail out,but I’ve yet to have any issues with this engine in 3 years probably 100 hrs,not saying it can’t happen,from my research most issues come from a fuel issue,like a cracked fuel line or bad fuel pump,all have been replaced yearly,engine was rebuilt this winter,I’ve coved all bases,if it happens hopefully I can get it on the ground safely,thanks for watching ✌️
@@TheMainePilot This was years ago. Ski-Doo. 2 cylinder motor, 2 stroke, each cylinder had its own carburetor. One carb decided to quit delivering gas/oil mixture. In a couple of seconds at 6-8000 rpm, that one cylinder and piston went into meltdown. The other cylinder and carburetor kept on producing power. If it would have had a manifold and 1 carburetor, the engine would have just died

@@bobf1174the Rotax 503 is very reliable and bulletproof from everything I’ve read and hear from mechanics. Most issues pop up are maintenance issues due to operator not maintaining the engine.
