I probably would have used the Honda supplied oil at first, run it for about 1/2 an hour, then changed the oil with your preference. You'd be surprised at how many metal shavings you'll see.

The older Briggs 190cc are better then the 163cc

I have a craftsman briggs and stratton that i purchase from sears yes sears lol back in 2015 or 16 ive maintain it very well simple sparkplug and fliter change along with fuel stabilizer after 2 pulls she's running i might be getting another just as a backup if i can find a 190cc or equivalent im a kobalt guy myself might get a one of them but i love Gas and unfortunately i live in California i might have to go outta state to get a Good lawnmower 😮😂

Brand new & the carb hunts on startup - that will only get worse, till all it does is hunt. The Honda Achilles heel nobody mentions.

Where are the Honda's and where are the Kohler Engines ! Look at the dust on the Honda mower! hum! I like the Toro ,but don't care for the Briggs engines! I would go with thew 599.00 machine !

Such a smart move man, you can’t go wrong with that unit as you know! I still run three and never had a single issue with my three Honda Mowers in 10+ years.

Very nice cut. I use a similar method but I use the blower before and after the lawn mower process.

I push mow with ego electric and my whole set up is electric. Benefits of pushing is charging more because most customers can't justify paying $80-$100 for someone to ride quickly over it for 15-20min if they yard is small or medium size. But spending 90 minutes on a property for 80-100 is justifable

i started with this mower and then got teh honda with the nexite deck gcv200. they were great and still work.. just bought a wright 36" stand on about 6 months ago and it is a game changer. getting yards done in a fraction of the time..$$

It's also nice that you're using yard book. As you grow bigger, I would recommend using Jobber. But yes as long as we have some sort of CRM. Because numbers don't lie!

I believe as long as we are charging correctly based on what we need to make & to be profitable than quality is just the only thing that matters. You'll be surprised how many landscapers focus strickly on quantity & yet there's always that one landscaper with only 30 lawns making the same or even more money the guy who just cares about getting more & more clients

Im not sure how your video was on my feed but as a full time guy with over 15+ experience... Man return it and buy a used toro pro line other than the commercial hondas because those are what you see as far as the 21" commercial mowers outlast everything and I MEAN EVERYTHING including walk behinds, big riding mowers... Those toro prolines are very expensive 🫰 used even but they are still worth it. Those aluminum decks are great for mulching, the only problem with those legendary mowers is that their tires and gears wear out fast and you have to gamble on the engine and transmission how the previous owners had them but if you find a well taken care of, they will last you a long time.. love them to death thats why you see so many on truccks and crews also being stolen. I have the commercial honda and although it is heavy, it is a tank and i never seen anything bag like it, thick grass is never an issue. Side discharge or mulch, may not be pretty but it will get through it with ease.. all i use is honda oil and it is still pulling and starting in the first and second pull tops..

Its Recommended to use conventional oil for the break in period then switch to synthetic after.
