I've replaced left one bout three times all from ebay for $20 each Ima try one from rockauto for $122 Hopefully it works

Any idea why water is coming in the led light and what to do ? I’m replacing three times this light, thanks

You can get them on parts geek for like 130 bucks. I'm telling you that's your best bet. I put four of them Amazon bulbs in it in the past year. And I'm just going to bite the bullet and spend the money. If I would have just bought the expensive one right off the gate it would still be working and I would have spent the same amount of money.

Don't get one off of Amazon either. They last about 2 months. Better off paying $150 bucks for the OE.

FYI, if anybody ever tells you that the daytime running LEDs on the front of the XTS require replacing the entire unit they're full of shit. There's a diode that you can replace right inside the wheel well up front. Cost you about 75 bucks. Opposed to $675 bucks for a new headlight unit lol.

That diode is just for the brake light. When that's out, you hit the brake pedal, the tail light goes black no lights. So even if your normal nighttime running tail light is working, when you hit the brake pedal it'll go black. That brake diode is what lights up the hole light when you hit the brakes.

I'll leave the one off behind the trunk springs I don't have to mess with it lol. The top and bottom do just fine. Do you ever have problems with your passenger side brake light going out constantly? Just curious 🤔

Which brand of Amazon bulbs did you try? Either one better than the other?

Really? without taking the bumper off? Did you deform or scratch the bumper in the process?
