A necessary conversation!

I wish in the past we had the information, and education about mental health that we have now. People in our community have/are being ostracized, judged and have been misunderstood by their families and peers for too long. It's hard to blame our elders for this because they were brought up in a different time with a lack of information that we have now. It's our responsibility for the informed people in our community to educate the youth and even our elders about the stigma of mental health within the black community.

I'm so thankful for getting a chance listening to these awesome speakers. As I'm listening i am also reflecting on some of the things that was talked-about about. Looking forward to more session.

I watched this live and it was filled with so many gems! Going to watch it again to soak up anything I missed. I don't want to continue the cycles my parents did so definitely not going to beat my kids for one!

How has Celina "healed" over being used as a "token black person" for Justin Trudeau and his Leftist Government? "Time to be honest, time to tell that story in an Authentic way" .... but something tells me Celina isn't allowed to even mention the Trudeau name w/o fear of repercussion?
