Great video! Is the input to the electrical box from the grid? Or are you off-grid and powering the box with a generator or battery bank? Perhaps this was mentioned but I just missed it! Good luck with the rest of the wiring!
We're on the grid but planning on adding solar in the future. There is a transformer right on our property boundary, so the up front cost of going on grid was much much cheaper than getting an off grid solar setup. Thanks for watching! Just a note... I appreciate your video but I can't watch easily the parts of your video with blurs on either side. I have to close my eyes at time. I know, some people are weird>>>sorry.
I agree, those clips can be hard to watch. That's the difference between shooting portrait or vertical instead of landscape or horizontal. I didn't realize the difference at the time. Everything moving forward will be shot in landscape. Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it.
Nice build, i had some replacement windows I used in 2018 ended up being a real pain when the insulation guys came in they used foam around the windows that wasn’t low expansion and it created enough pressure to bust my 5 foot wide picture window. One of the other windows leaks from not getting the ice and water shield on well enough I’m guessing. The top edge is real hard to get sealed up well. Hope this helps prevent some headaches. Thanks for the video
Wow, that sounds like a headache. I didn't know the difference at the time, I wish I did. Hopefully this one won't give me that much trouble. Luckily it's just one of the windows. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Can you tell a little more about how you got the power "pole", as far as what you had to do in regards to the power company/cooperative, vs what you did yourself, vs what you had to get inspected (if anything) ? We want to do something similar, basically get a power "pole" to use just in the middle of land for a while so we have a few outdoor outlets until eventually our build is ready to bring power to a building... thanks for any thoughts/advice/suggestions as far as your experience.
@ambersmith9683 I'm guessing it varies from power company to power company. In my case, I gave the power company my electrical permit number. With that, they installed a post with the meter. I was able to install the electrical panel and connect it to the meter. The electrical inspector came and approved the install.
