I wish the audio quality was a bit better. It gets almost inaudible at some points. Is there anyway it could be fixed please? The audio is muffled.

Applicants for a PhD do not want to listen to the stating of the obvious, they need detailed information like how to find a potential supervisor. Saying; "just email a professor who would be interested in your proposal" is insufficient. Applicants do not need advice on academic, acculturation and affinity, these are rather natural and basic human skills. Indeed, what Applicants need to know is that HKPFS charges a substantial fee to submit an application which is not refundable, however, the reason why they require this is not explained. Please stop condescending towards your applicants and provide more useful information.

I'm a linguistics student, this year doing psycholinguistics for the first time, and even though alcohol abuse was mentioned as a cause of language impairment, for the life of me I could not find anything much deeper than "it affects language". This is really exciting, very refreshing to see a deeper dive into what's actually happening. Very keen to read more
It's good to know this video is helpful to your deeper understanding of language impairment. Our Prof. Louise Cummings conducts research in three main areas: Linguistics (pragmatics and clinical linguistics); Communication disorders (particularly pragmatic disorders); and Public health communication. Her profile webpage includes her research work in these areas and you could check it out to get more comprehensive info.
