Thanks for posting. Missed an opportunity to see Swervedrive around this time (probably on same tour). At least now I have some idea what I missed, although nothing like being there in person. Was and remains one of my favorite bands.

Awesome you posted this. Our Cog Factory shows were some of the most fun. The venue was always so cool to us, the kids liked what we did (but some were confused when they showed up and saw we drank beer when they thought we were straight edge hardcore for some reason). We were living it and loving it, for little money, but we followed our passion, truly. We played with some awesome bands there and on tour and I always felt like that was one of the most truly DIY type scenes, and in Omaha, NB of all places. This was back in the day when I wouldn't return calls from major label A&R dudes because I thought we were too pure to get in bed with those "snakes." I guess indie label Thirsty Ear showed us/me when they never paid us the royalties that they still owe us, then asked us to change our band's music to be a college pop band. I can't remember the main dude at the Cog Factory but I remember well when some drug addicts broke into our downtown KC, MO practice space above Vic's grandfather's optical store and stole all of our gear. The Cog Factory main guy found a practice PA head and speakers and just plain gave it to us. One of the coolest things anyone had done for us. Still such a rad thing to do, just so we could continue making noise. Great times with some angry boys who happened to really connect musically and have a blast doing it!

Thanks for uploading this concert! Swervedriver was one of my favourite bands in the early 90s. I loved seeing/hearing bands at the Town Pump!
