This makes me cry because after my little boys mum broke my heart I've never been able to function emotionally in a relationship ...and the girl I've been with over the last 5yrs deserves more than I can give her and I've said so many times to her that I'm broken😞...I work away and spend most of my time very lonely and I'm a very loving man but whatever broke in me when my son's mum betrayed me has never healed....I have massive sadness for my current girl because I simply cannot commit anymore and I often break contact and go away to work because I literally need to run away from any kind of emotional commitment ..I hate myself for it but I have no control over it, when my baby's mum destroyed us I fell to pieces and spent 5months sleeping in my car through winter without eating properly or asking for help... something changed in me and I hate that I can't be that open heart anymore....this song hits me deep because I feel like it's me singing it and my lovely girl is the one tolerating and hoping🤦🏻‍♂️😞...I'm a true romantic but feel like a charlatan because I know I'm headed for self isolation and don't want to drag her down with me☹️🤦🏻‍♂️

It's my childhood. My mother made all my clothes, except the coat. I got picked on about having homemade clothes. But I loved them and I'll always be thankful she had that talent and taught me as well. I still make most of my clothes.

I was perhaps 15 or 16 years old when I first heard this song and I love it and all other Glen Campbell's songs though I was into Blues and Rock .. This coming May (2017), I will be turning 64 years old and thank God I am still looking good .. lol .. The ending is a bit abrupt, and way too slow for me (guess I'm just so used to the London version) but I guess it's good if you need an accompaniment track.
