The optimal is to always keep health higher than defense by 100 (Explanation for those interested) Quoting the skyblock wiki, Effective Health (EHP) is the amount of damage enemies need to deal to the player to kill them when ❈ Defense is factored in. So our goal is to have the most EHP possible. The formula for EHP, according skyblock's wiki, is *_EHP = Health*((Defense/100) + 1)_* . 1. Let's say we have 500 health and 400 defense, making up for a total of 900 (HP+def). EHP would be 500*(400/100 + 1) = 2500. 2. What if the total amount of (HP+def) stayed the same, but we had more health, for instance, 600 health and 300 defense? The EHP would be 600*(300/100 + 1) = 2400, slightly lower than the previous one 3. Now, what if we did the same thing but had more defense, like 400 health and 500 defense? The EHP be: 400*(500/100 + 1) = still 2400 As you can see, 1.'s case is optimal because health was fixed 100 higher than defense. _____________________________ Let's redo 1., 2. and 3. but with larger numbers to strengthen the evidence.
