Добавлен 21 май 2010
Yo RUclips!
Welcome from me Martin Lewis (aka Chubb) and Russ Pickford (aka Rusty Nail). Thanks for checking us out.
The E-Zee Riders channel catapults you into the adventures of two fifty something Bristolians who discovered the joys of owning an E-Bike during the pandemic. We will share our adventures of real cyclists who are not fit, don't look good in lycra but have a bloody good time cycling around the west of England. We endeavour to post new adventures every week, we discuss equipment reviews, bike upgrades and general banter.
Join us on RUclips and help us grow into one of very few E-Bike specific channels. Your support really does mean everything to us both. Our objective is to get more and more people out on the road on E-Bikes and reap the same health and well being benefits that we both achieved during the pandemic.

Specialized Creo New Forest Autumn Loop
Join for for another gravel ride in the New Forest. The leaves are an amazing shade of browns, yellows and reds which once the sun came out was a sight to behold. The Specialized Creo coped admirably with all the conditions apart from a couple of bogs due to my poor navigation. Enjoy.

Starting at the seaside town of Weston-Super-Mare, I skirt along the North Somerset coast taking in some lovely sights. The Specialized Creo took it all in its stride as usual and I also clocked up 2000 miles on the Creo along the way. www.strava.com/activities/12757495590 #specializedebike #...

Good morning Chubs, great to watch another great video. Nice to see blue skys even if it was cold. Good to see your keeping your bike clean. Well built bridges along the cannel. Glad someone had made a path through the fallen down tree. Hope Rusty Nails is going well. Martha and the muffins, great tune. Bye for now, take care on roads. All the best Tim Melbourne Australia .😊
Doing well, Tim. Finishing work off before Christmas. Haven't been out with the drone yet; can't wait! 😀 Need to show off my new van as well.

Yey Rusty made it out! 🤙😁
He's back!!
Hi Chubbs & Rusty ! Please give a shout out to me & Jonathan Wildman as we’re new to watching this channel and have enjoyed binge watching all of them this weekend!
@@clairem68 you will defo get a shout out seeing as you subscribed. Must admit the thought of binging on me and Rusty is a bit disturbing LOL. Hope you are enjoying our past adventures. Cheers for the support.
Howdy boys, glad to see you Brits celebrating with your ride to the Christmas Market. It would have been more festive if you visited at night so we could see the Xmas lights. I will have to toast you both this year with a little Johnnie Walker Black, because I can't do that mulled wine here in Texas. Somebody would say get a rope.
Great video lads same weather here in Ireland i still get out on my bike no matter what the weather.
Top man Sean. Keep pedalling!
Great ride lads nice to see rusty make an appearance.i love saying hello to the cycling groups .just to see if they can speak lol nearly every time f**k all 😂it don’t take a lot to say hello or a 👋🏻makes I laugh 😆🤣🤣
Not just us then John who play the say hello game. Some of them think they are in the bloody Tour De France by the look on their faces. LOL
Grumpy cyclist- i guess it was to much for him to say hello
Indeed, cost nothing to be polite
Did they not sell Bar'th bombs at the xmas market 😉🤣
No but they had BaFh bombs LOL
Hello again Chubs, great to see you out with Rusty Nails. Another cloudy day in the UK,don't miss it one bit. Hope Rusty Nails' new van is going well . Maybe you will have a white Christmas. Sounds like David Bowie singing on your walk through the market . Good to see the current bun come out, and some blue sky. Nice to see the old steam train. The river Avon was near where where I used to go to school. Bedford on Avon. Great to get a mention from you, from the land down under . Another good post ,take care on the roads, all the best, Tim Melbourne Australia.
Thanks Tim. I will be sure to remember your name next time matey. Appreciate the support.
It's BARth not BAth
Thats what i said..........BaFh!! LOL
That looked like a fantastic route. Had a bit of everything. We’ll have to try and get down to the New Forest sometime. It’s been a while. Donkeys were so cute! 😁 - Great video as always! 👍
You should! Thanks for the comments
2 out of 10, unprepared, lack of detail and mumbling narration 👎
is that an electric bike
Yes indeed, clue is in the name of the channel, LOL
just watched the vid well done , could i ask you a question ? what speeds on the flat can you keep up with the power switched off and if you're cycling on say eco , at 15mph the assist cuts out can you maintain 16 or 17mph or does the extra weight of the bike keep you reliant on the assist ?
I generally average about 15mph on long rides which always a mix of all terrains and battery on and off. Hitting a steady 16mph on the flat is doable but I'm more of a cyclist that likes to take in my surroundings rather than head down ass up so I don't usually operate with the battery that often. Equally, your own personal weight etc has a bearing which again is an area where I don't excel, LOL! If I'm honest you will struggle to keep up with normal road bikes on the flat on average but if there is any sort of headwind or incline then thats when the e-bike will kick in. Glad you enjoyed the video.
Nice ride, 20 mins or so from me. As you found, keep on the road and gravel, its proper boggy in places. lol
You can say that again!
I’m in two minds to get a gravel bike because I’ve always had mountain and hybrid bikes and not sure about the handlebars as so used to straight bars . Any suggestions?
I would suggest you go with your gut feeling, this is always usually right.
At 8.38 you were lucky to not be shot by a verderer. You were well off route. Also it’s heathland not a moor
Thanks for correcting me. Whats the difference?
Lovely ride that and a beautiful part of the world. Haven’t cycled in the New Forest since my twenties (long time ago!) when I rode down from Buckinghamshire to camp for a week. Might have to follow your example and visit again soon. Great vid as always, thanks 👍
You should!
I thought this was carpool karaoke to begin with. Nice scenery
It passed the time Rob!
Nice ride chub looks amazing 👍spare gloves to make little man look bigger on a cold day lol hand warmers keep hands warm ??sweaty mits near yours bits 😂😂
I've been rumbled, damn it!
Unfit blokes on e bikes great watch🤣🤣🤣
Cracking video, chubb.
Thanks 👍
Lovely ride m8 love the little gravel bits excellent
Glad you like them!
great .... it was fun to watch a video of yours again . 👌👍
Thanks for the visit. Make sure you come back soon.
Quick question, have you noticed any different in range now the temperatures have dropped? Ive not noticed any difference with my Specialized, but i have with my Ribble (especially the range extender battery for some reason). Mayhe the RE battery has less protection against the elements? 🤔
Not really but i don't normally get close to using up the entire battery and that of the RE so its hard to say. Its safe to say the Ribble battery os not as robust as the Creo. It goes down very quickly.
Chubs we definitely need some more singing/rapping in the car segments on your cycling videos in the future 😂👏🏻
Consider it done!
Cheers Mate... Good to see the forest, we've not been that way for while🚴🚴👍 Give us a bell next time you're in town maybe we can put together an airfield ride.👍
Next time!
Hey chub I just had to comment on your winter gear because I went out today in short sleeve Jersey. My Texas Gulf coast ride was 30 miles in a cozy 69 degrees farenheit. 😂
21 degrees!! Thanks for rubbing it in Scott. Hope you enjoyed your ride.
Hi Chubs, great to see you out on the bike again. Autumn is definitely with you in the UK. Good to hear Franky goes to Hollywood ,remember it well back in my day. It came from the album, welcome to the pleasure dome. Today Saturday here in Melbourne, it's been 34c. Doing a great job with thease utube posts. On a winters day i think was sung by the mummers and the pappers. A good variety of country side on your ride today Chubs. The New forest is lovely. Good you got off the beat and track. Always nice to hear back from you, take care on your bike, all the best Tim Melbourne Australia,Lol too.
34 degrees!! Bloody hell, thats sounds glorious. To be honest if it was that hot us Brits would be moaning its too hot LOL
Great video, check out the Garmin New Forest”ride out” in August. All the top you tubers ride it,all for Action Research Charity.
Thanks for the info!
nice ride in the best county in the UK😉
Close second to Gloucestershire LOL
Nice ride. How do you ride with no gloves this time of year, first place i feel the cold is my hands and feet 🙂
Good question! It was quite mild actually but I had my gloves on today. Bloody freezing!
Locals call the path with the small blocks ‘The chocolate block path’ 👍
I can see why. Appreciate the comments.
I used one of them Tier/Dott E bike yesterday to get into town. Parked in Brislington and found one. Was in the centre in 10 minutes! Overtook absolutely everything! Would have taken ages to drive in sat in traffic and then parked!
Sounds like its only a matter of time until you step across to the dark side young Skywalker...........LOL
Hi Chubs, great to hear back from you. Looks like Autumn has arrived in the UK,golden leaves falling off the trees.will be good if Rusty Nails, has charging port in his new van. Good you have the mud guards on for winter. Yesterday I did a ride into docklands Melbourne and back down Beach road 140km. In 2 weeks doing the Great Victorian bike ride for 9 days. Doing some camping , not done that since my school days. Again good backing music, Duran Duran. I also like Tears for Fears, they came from Bath, your neck of the woods. Like your bike Chubbs, maybe get one in a few years time. Take care on the roads, all the best Tim Melbourne Australia.
Camping?? Watch out for snakes LOL. Tears for Fears eh, one of the band had a house not far from the Bristol to Bath cycle path. Not sure if he still lives there. Assume its summer down under so enjoy getting out in the warm weather. Getting cold here but whats new LOL
Nice ride that chub .you are lucky were you are all the lane in my aera ar coved in mud were the farmers are trying to get work done in the fields because it’s been a crap year for them so I’ve been mounting bike riding were the lane are so slippery on the creo 🤦🏻♂️need it to piss down so I can get back out on the creo lol 👍
Hell, mud city by the sound of it Jon. Go steady, don't want any accidents do we.
Lovely ride that. I spent many a night in the Grannary back in the day. Saw Thin Lizzy, Genesis, Lindesfarne and many more bands in the 70's.
Cool, never knew so many top acts played there.
Nice ride. That suspension bridge sure is impressive when viewed from underneath!
It really is!
Its a nice chilled watch in the background whilst working.
Hope it wasn't too much of a distraction.
Excellent once again m8 shame about the gloomy weather beautiful scenery though just remember winter miles make summer smiles 😃
I like the strap-line. May have to use that in one of the vlogs!
@E-ZeeRiders it's true m8 you are very welcome to
Thats priddy transmitter. Everyone used to go there for magic mushrooms 😂
I'll be back then when the mist clears!!
There are some lovely quiet roads in and out of Wells, brave man using the main road!
Not the best planning on my part! Thanks for the comment and support.
Hello again from Melbourne Australia, great to get a mention on your post. Enjoyed your ride to Ilminster. Love the back ground music can't beat the 80s music takes me back. I've been in Australia since 2004,used to live near Stratford on avon. It's nice down your neck of the woods. Do miss the country lanes but not the grey skys and rain. Also remember the Wozsels, and I've go a brand new combine harvester. Summerset cider is nice too. The lead singer of the Worzels was Adge Cuttler,my dad had the lp record.Think they came from Sheption Mallat. I love cycling and do around 350 km per week. Do enjoy my one electric bike a Gient Trance E + 3 mountain bike. Have a Gient Defy and Revolt both carbon fiber nice and light. Anyway, keep safe on the roads. Thanks for the content, nice to see lovely parts of the south of England. All the best Tim Melbourne Australia 😊
G'day mate. How's things down under? Stratford eh, nice place. Recall attending a training course there once at the Stratford Manor Hotel. You are very well prepped on your Worzels knowledge. Adge Cutler was indeed the main man! Decent mileage on your part but i guess the weather makes the going a lot easier. It was well shitty the weekend, LOL. Keep in touch matey.
Funny seeing you in Burnett. Careful on those busy roads mind!
For sure!
Nice route but some busy old roads. Did a bit of that route this morning but in reverse, the hill up out of Wells. Thankfully on my other bike, the one with 120 bhp! No e-bike miles for me this weekend, waiting on a warranty repair on a broken 105 shifter. Ride safe fella 👍
Trust you stayed within the speed limit?? Thanks for the comments
mostly! 😉
Great ride chub nice scenery but the weather is pants lol hope the girls done well stay safe keep battling on mate 👍🚴
Thanks 👍
