I would like to say this: That there is no way an elder in the JWs would "forbid" me or any other JW I know from asking you what you believe, as the gentleman said here. How else can you have a meaningful conversation with someone if you do not know where they are coming from? Also no JW would view any WT publication as inspired and supersedes scripture. This is not an accurate representation of the beliefs of JWs. You should really stick to the facts when you are speaking about Russell and speaking Greek in court. He was asked if he knew the Greek alphabet, Russell replied, yes. He was then asked if he could speak Greek> Russell replied, no. How is this lying? I know the Greek alphabet, mostly, but I could not speak Greek or even understand it if someone spoke it to me. I noticed that Mr. Cummings himself was not being honest in his presentation when he said that Russell lied about speaking Greek. Quote: "The Lawyer said are you familiar with the Greek language and Russell said "no I am not. He could not pick out a single letter from the Greek alphabet" Not true. Russell successfully sued a Canadian Minister for saying what this man just said. Lying for Jesus is still lying. Over 9,000 single personal pronouns used of God in the OT and he said that the use of "us" in a few places makes God a trinity. seriously! Why can't "us" be that God was talking to someone?
