Hi guys!
After a long while and on and off drawing, I finally finished this Kaeya and Diluc centered animatic, "Because"! I love Yoko Kanno's music and Aoi Teshima's voice and this song, I felt, was just perfect in describing Kaeya and Diluc's past and relationship (and whether you see that as romantic or not idc. you do you).
I tried to work with a bit more shading but I still stuck to grayscale. Hopefully in future videos I'll add in some actual color. We'll see... Also need to add that any backgrounds I did were all blatantly traced for the most part from screenshots I took in game ngl. I must say though, the most difficult thing to draw was their freakin' hair especially yours Diluc omg...

I'm just now realizing how much of comfort characters Kaeya and Diluc are for me. Almost three years ago my sister who I was very close to as a child moved out on very bad terms and we hardly talk or see each other any more. I love my sister very much but the way she left still hurts more then anything. Even though Kaeya and Diluc act like they hate each other and don't talk or see each other very much and parted on bad terms.... You can still see how much they care about each other even though they wont admit it.
These drawings are so beautiful!! Could you perchance put the line art up on gum road or something? I really would love to print the Angel's Share for coloring!!
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE BACKGROUNDS??????? It must have taken ages JUST for that alone, and it is combined with lots of amazing and beautiful frames, with fully lined people, who are genshin characters, so with lots and lots of details, and EVERYTHING is here. It's beautiful, and I'm not crying it's just the hydro archon playing tricks.

I wish I could like this a few dozen times. This is so well done, and the music fits. And I'm a total fangirl who adores Diluc and Kaeya and wishes they could be brothers again... and some part of me weeps at the "Greek Tragedy" potential that could be. I just want them to be happy.
