    How about working up to an apena slow jog?

    • @justgetwet_
      @justgetwet_ 12 дней назад

      definitely on the more dangerous side of things but that urge to breath will come much quicker. I like to stick with an apnea walk because the cadence of a walk can very closely simulate the cadence of a standard finning cycle.

    A wrist mount is good... until you have to shove yor hand in a hole and the light then blocks you being able to get in. I found having the retractable flashlight works best as you can just let it go and feel with your hands. Sometimes, feeling with just your hands allows you to better maneuver to grab that bug.

    • @justgetwet_

    I used the STAmina app to train my breath. It creates the training tables for you and alternates between training CO2 tolerance and O2 efficiency. It really simplifies things.

    • @justgetwet_
      @justgetwet_ 12 дней назад

      Yes these apps are great. But most traditional CO2 and O2 tables often have too long of a breathing period between holds which allows your body to get back to normal levels of CO2 by the time your next hold comes. A lot of freedivers are creating their own tables and really focusing on keeping the breathing period shorter so that you start holds with higher levels of CO2 and you end up training that more specifically.

    I thought it was going to be esoteric bs when you mentioned moon phases but was delighted by science instead

    • @CampfireRachael
      @CampfireRachael Месяц назад

      You're so ignorant with your quick conclusion that the moon does not affect humans in ways science doesn't fully understand yet. We're made of water and affected by gravity. The moon's gravity affects the tides. To so quickly assume that we are impervious to the effects of the moon's gravity just because the effects are more difficult to calculate, just means you are close-minded

    • @haven621
      @haven621 Месяц назад

      @@CampfireRachael If it was discovered that the moon did affect us by its gravity then that would be science, maybe something that needs studying but can still be classified as such, differently is claiming that the moon has a spiritual impact on us.
