Very cool group of records, I just subbed you up, I mainly talk rock vinyl on my channel and post a few concert clips, Cobra Kai, cool shirt, thanks for sharing the great music info. Peace!
@@mikespins5894 thank you dude. I share a good mixture of genres usually but wanted to jump on this tag as Soul and Funk are 2 genres I really love. I'll check out your channel too!
Great collection, I've got them all too! SUPERB TASTE!
Hey man, great collection! Subbed for more!
@@Enturbulant thank you so much!
I wish more people knew Jackson stole the moonwalk
M. Jackson knows that he didn't originate it. He learned it from one of the original Shalamar singers. But. MJ made it famous.
@@malcomlittle251 no doubt MJ made it famous. Unfortunately its not acknowledged thst Jeff Daniels taught him how to do it
@@andybertaut me too!
Yes am a fan of Leon Bridges and have currently listening to the Nina Simone remix album. I'm luvin it. Great selections.... white soul = Dusty Springfield if you don't have any grab some. Show us your most prized or unusual possessions 😊
@@JasonJames72 I'm familiar with Dusty. Unfortunately didn't have any to show 😕. Glad to see another Leon Bridges fan here in the community
Hello Alex! As a kid, I used to always get Chocolate Milk and Hot Chocolate mixed-up in my mind...but as I've gotten older, I identify Chocolate Milk as the Funk Band, and Hot Chocolate as the Rock Band (or, that's how I filed them both away in my collection 😅!) I really like the Go West needle drop (rocking with fire!) I also listened to my CD copy of Phil Collins No Jacket Required a few days ago(it was an early CD with the slight hiss in the background, I honestly didn't mind it, I have an OK CD Player, so I don't mind buying older CDs, just as long as they're not apart of the LOUDNESS WARS ERA of CDs...!) it brought back so many memories 😊. I will check out the Linkin Park, and the Pete Rock and Common albums, also. Thank you 😊 🙏
@@BD_MEDIA. I can see the confusion. Definitely prefer Chocolate Milk as a whole while Hot Chocolate was more commercial and had bigger hits. I'd like to get the first Go West album on vinyl which I will get eventually. Phil Collins first 4 solo albums are all great in my opinion. Definitely check the albums out and let me know what you think! Thanks for watching
Hi Alex - just found your channel via the 2025 Vinyl tag. Great video. LED Zeppelin 4 for drums is a good shout. Have a good 2025. Cheers Bill
@billvinyl-lists4572 welcome. Always happy to see new channels. I thought it be. It was the first thing that came to my mind so I went with it. Happy 2025!
idk what is happening to my home page but this is the 3rd video to pop up on my recommended today with 50 views or less and idk why
@@shuriwitwicky6646 I appreciate you saying that thank you!
The other band Steve Winwood was in was the Spencer Davis Group
@@andybertaut thank you! I really couldn't remember his other band
@@alexspinsvinyl5391 their best-of is pure fire
Hi Alex! Great video and choices! Just subbed to your channel. looking forward to more of your videos.
@@toddthemod thank you so much. Welcome!
Hey Alex, that was a fantastic tag! You showed loads of my favourites. Steve Winwood was a great pick and the other band you were thinking of was the Spencer Davis Group (his first band). The Fela Kuti album you showed looks really cool. I'd like to get into more of his stuff. Great stuff, Jack
@@TheVinylVoyage-ud3uf thanks man I appreciate it. Thank you I really couldn't remember the name of his first band. That Fela album is worth checking out if you haven't. Thanks for watching
2 Low 4 0 is a great album
Some great spins in there. With Linda....ALL of her early albums are fantastic. Really nice that they are all very cheep too. ...but anything up to Hasten Down the Wind from 1976 (I think) are golden.
@@mrhoffame awesome. Thanks for the recommendations Brandon. It's appreciated
Do you have Dionne Warwick's Heartbreaker? Another great Barry Gibb-penned album.
@@andybertaut I don't have a physical copy unfortunately but I do know the album well
Hey Alex, nice pickups. Love Stankonia… not sure what’s better between it or Aquemeni. Ready to Die is a classic too! Zeppelin IV is my favourite Zep… love it! Lovely stuff 👌 cheers, Jack
@@TheVinylVoyage-ud3uf I thought I got really lucky recently so had to share...thanks for watching
Awesome records I've tried to listen to pink Floyd but I just can't get into it. I have 17k records but don't have wot other collectors expect 😮
I didn't either at first. It grew one over time. Wish I had a collection that size!!
@alexspinsvinyl5391 it's annoying at times having so much to choose from as it stumps me on wot to play. Lol
@@JasonJames72 yeah I bet. I only have a small collection now as I sold a lot of stuff before my daughter was born. I still struggle worh what to listen to
@alexspinsvinyl5391 the sacrificial record culling is the norm when the family expands. Plus the space it takes. And it's a full time keeping them in order. I've unfortunately misplaced records due to the volume and then out of the blue they appear. Wots your fave album....
@@JasonJames72 my favourite album of all time is songs in the key of life...I'm hoping to re do my top 10 favourite albums video in the new year!
Omg me to i prefer the bangles b-side over the hit track. The whole album is good. Luv ya vids. From the land down under 🇦🇺 ❤😊

Nice vid!! Shout out to your DJ friend for the Hip Hop singles, would’ve loved to see the ones you scrapped out. I subbed and 👍🏽. Keep it up! You’ll hit 400 in no time.
Thanks man. My friend really hooked me up! In my opinion there wasn't too much of interest in what I got rid of. I appreciate it dude. Thank you!
Hello Alex! If you like Pleasure by The Ohio Players, you might like their album Honey. It's also a good album from them 👌
@@BD_MEDIA. I'm familiar with their work now you mention it. I just don't see them too often while digging

RUclips suosittelee satunnaista vinyylien keräilijää ja jäbä kasuaalisti pyöräyttää Fela Kutin Zombie-albumin ruudulle. Big up. Tuon albumin takia artistin äiti tapettiin ja armeija kävi tuhoamassa heidän yhteisönsä.
Fuck i loved this Album during my first listen when Eminem put them out for all his fans to kick back n enjoy i will guarantee when u hear it on ur own the whole will grow on u if u hear it frum the last song to the first song it will blow ur whole mind
@@ToddChaske I have since listened to the album on my own. I can confirm it has grown on me a little bit as a whole I'm still disappointed in this album. Some tracks have grown on me, others I'm still not keen on! As I hardcore Eminem fan, I admire all the throwbacks to his old work but still wouldn't rank this album too highly!
Felt like you were way more into doing this than she was which definitely hindered the vibe of the video. Try giving it a listen on your own with better audio equipment and a microphone whilst listening to the lyrics. It’ll be hard to enjoy it when someone’s sat next to you not having a good time. Kinda echo what the other commenter said. Keep it up though, can only improve with feedback!
Also you’ll struggle to take much away from this album if your Eminem knowledge is as limited as not knowing there’s a guilty conscience 1. Maybe go through his albums in order reacting to them & this album will have a lot more meaning to it.
@@MitchVC eminem is my favourite Rapper so my knowledge is pretty good. Sure my wife may not be as in the know as I am but she knows the hits so that counts for something I suppose. As this is my first reaction video, I had no idea how to approach it. May not do more in the future but definitely enjoyed this album. At least the first half, some songs on it I can take or leave.
OK... this will sound MEAN... but im trying to help. This looks like a HOSTAGE video... like your filming this at gun point. The sounds horrible. i cant understand 90% of what your saying or hear Most of the music. She looks bored and like she gives zero fucks 90% of the time. the vibe is so off. no one seems chill or like they are into it at all. BUY a mic... use SPEAKERS FOR THE MUSIC... and get drunk or something next time...
How old were you when you realised House Of Fun was about buying condoms?
Honestly I don't remember 🤣
Hey, Alex, great collection! Billy Griffin(?), wasn't he the lead singer of the Miracles after Smokey left? I like the Pretenders single, too. Can't go wrong with Shalamar, either. I have to start back up to cleaning my singles, too. I use a Spin Clean that I run my singles through, what do you use?
I believe he was. I enjoy spinning my singles
for Ryan Adams, Prisoner is amazing. It's a post-breakup album, which is always great!
Awesome. I'll have to check it out. Thank you
Can't Slow Down in such a good album!
I agree
Thanks for your video! I appreciate the diversity of genre that you’ve presented.
Thanks for watching. I'm always trying to be diverse
Good day ALEX!
Hi Tavis. Long time. How you been?
How long have you been collecting? Is there a lot of places around you that sell records or do you now order online?
I've been collecting for 8 years now. I have a couple of stores in surrounding towns as I live in a small village, most of my ordering is done in charity shops or online
I'm still learning about a bunch of new music with your videos! That 80s comp looks solid, quite a variety for sure. When you showed the Peter Tosh record, I wanted to mention another channel you might appreciate; Young LP Lovers. He has been posting videos about Bob Marley/Wailers recently. Very interesting stuff that I'm not super familiar with. Take care!
I'm glad to hear. Yeah the 80s comp is great and a favourite for my wife and myself
Keep up the great work
Thank you
Wow! You picked up quite a nice variety. Speak and Spell is one I'd love to have. Any DM I find I try to pick up, but never find much. The Beat, Roxy, Bowie, and Thompson Twins are great! Very cool to see a few new artists too. My friend has mentioned Amy Winehouse to me, I'll have to check her music out. Thanks for sharing man! Take care!
Thanks for watching I appreciate it. I always try and show a good variety, I feel like getting a collection off a friend of a friend really help
Lament is the only studio album I own from Ultravox so far and 'Building' didn't sound familiar. From my quick investigation, I don't think it was included on any other albums until a re-release of Lament in 1999. That Kraftwerk single is crazy! I love all 3 of those tracks. Nice variety of artists too! I wasn't familiar with several of them, but that last needle drop of Slave was very catchy. Will have to go check them out.
Thanks for watching dude. Appreciate it
Nice video! Great pick on showing that Lexicon of Love album, it's a solid album front to back! I also thought it was funny how you held up the Girls on Film 7 inch, because I just posted my first video and showed the Duran Duran LP, but my labels only have that blue square on it, they didn't print any text on mine! Take care!
Thanks for checking out my video. I'm heading over to your channel now 👍🏼
Love that George Benson album! Also had to double-check my collection to see if I have The Greatest Showman...lo and behold, I do! I just don't remember LOL! Guess it was one of those many complimentary copies I received from Atlantic. Shout out to Atlantic and Columbia (Sony Music) for sending me comp soundtracks and albums like AC/DC's most recent releases. - Red
It's one of my favourites from him for sure. I was going to say of you didn't have the greatest showman you need to go out and get it but if you have a copy then we're all good. Happy new year to you
Hi Alex, I got a nice copy of 3 Feet High and Rising too last year. Listened to it loads and should have had it in my vinyl tag! Whatever People Say I Am or Suck It And See are probably my two favourite Arctic Monkeys albums. Enjoyed your video pal. Cheers, Jack
I love suck it and see too but thought other people would know whatever people say I am a bit better. I'll definitely check out your vinyl tag
