I tip a lot. I essentially tip every meal, housekeeper in the morning, turn down at night, pool side server, and then any ad hoc drinks I might get. Let me know if you want more specificity but meals are $10 low side, $20 average, I'll sometimes push it up more for the poolside server, dinner, or a great server. Housekeeping $10 each time, $20 or more for the final clean up service...and I always tip the towel people because they take good care of us. All in US currency...

So bring a lot of cash? if you’re at pool all day do you tip each time you get something or at end of day?

@@terrimccammon4594 I definitely bring a lot of cash. If you're at the pool all day, you'll be assigned a server. I just tip them well as I sign my bill at the end. I may also tip the expo bringing food out if I eat poolside. You can get pesos in their ATM as well. I've always heard that US dollars are preferred...but that could be wrong

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply. Ugh. That would take me packing multiple times just to conclude one thing: None of these are great with wrinkles. Many viewers have recommended using dry cleaner bags to maximize wrinkle resistance but each of these bags have issues with clothes wrinkling in my opinion. The Premium by Halfday, to me is still the best!

@@rodrigosalas3687 It really depends on the quality and the use of your bag. The Halfday has superior fabrics, aesthetics, and zippers and I give it a slight edge. The Moderne Gentleman is great, with superior organization and engineering but their quality sometimes suffers and I see a lot more returns on MG. I’d give the slight go ahead to the Premium Halfday.

Enjoy the closing months of your senior year and don't worry about move-in it'll be smooth and you will do great. My daughter is still home for the holiday break but is looking forward to going back this weekend. My advice to you and your family: get an early move in time (like 9:30 AM or earlier). Highly doubt....you can shove it but this is designed to be a carryon and not a personal item

Underseat space is usually no bigger than 18”. The premium duffle is 22”. You could try squishing it, but that would defeat the purpose of traveling with a suit and dress shirts, keeping them as wrinkle free as possible. You may also be able to get away with it, if you don’t pack shoes in the shoe pouches and otherwise also pack light. - I haven’t tried that with this bag, but have managed to do so with other 20-23” bags that weren’t packed to the brim. - (Sorry for the “typos” and wild autocorrect, making this read crazy. It was late and I was posting quickly.)

@ exactly. I think you can get away with it but you would stand to mess up everything you’re traveling with!

I think it honestly is. I didn't love the original halfday...just no organization, no pockets. For the extra $50 I think you'll find value there. I'd go premium

@ just ordered a premium. It looks like the premium will realistically last longer as it’s made out of better materials, so the extra $50 upfront makes sense in my eyes

@@karenhutz3311 honestly I would carry it on. It’s too big to be a personal item but it could be your carryon. Airlines are notoriously rough and even though it’s built well I’d be nervous to have baggage handlers on it!

I’d carry on. Duffles like this aren’t built for baggage handling. You’re better off getting or using a real suitcase, to check.

Oh my goodness - my wife has the same exact complaint. I'm 6'1 and it never bothered me...she's 5'2" and it irritates her! You are not alone!

@@theocdtraveler from a slot machine that someone left money in and went to a bathroom. It is a story!! they were so sure their cameras caught me. After they discovered they were wrong, they said they were sorry and offered $50 free play or a free meal. I haven't been back since cuz it has left a pretty bad taste in my mouth.

Sorry for my delay in responding. I think I like the functionality of the Maxlite better as it's shell and over all structure allow for lighter carrying weight but I think I like the Roundtrip look and style a little better. Both are excellent amzn.to/3OzoZc4
