Academies alone can not produce players. All across the globe the academies have established 11 a side team with established league system. The kids can learn basic technique but without games the improvement seems stagnant.

All academies should have senior team. This will provide pathway for junior players to play at senior level. For u/10 to u/12 make them play 9 a side. For u/14 all must play 11 a side . Don’t keep kids engaged in 5 a side
