Popularity doesn't equal quality of artistry. Drake might be overall more successful and adaptable, but when we're thinking about flow, lyricism, and integrity, Kendrick is by far the superior artist. Drake is a pop star with artistic inclinations, Kendrick is a real artist with star status in hip-hop.
True, popularity doesn't equate to superior artistry. But in this case, I still insist that Drake is a better artist than Kendrick. They can both rap and make dope records, but Drake has the edge thanks to his singing abilities. By the way, I'm not even a Drake fan!

This whole video is a glaze fest. Drake does have very good music, no doubt but so does Kendrick. Kendrick consistently drops classic albums very similarly to how Kanye drops them. This is all subjective. Kendrick has the better albums, GKMC, TPAB, Section 80, and DAMN(least fav). Drake has If you're reading this youre too late, Take Care (arguably his best work), & Nothing was the same.
