Aren't those greater Anglia trains made by Stadler. In fact, I just looked up a video of those units sounding their horns, and I do see the resemblance.

This is a Network Rail P.L.P.R. track inspection train it uses cameras to look for track deffects

I would call those wagon container flatbeds, and there was a tone of them. It's bigger than what I get back at home for sure!

That trains always act up on a Monday for some reason. It went on Wednesday instead of Monday. What was strange, tho is that the train on Monday went to South to Carrbridge and stopped for an hour at least and then went straight back to Inverness!

I'm sure u will see one soon. There are four due up in June, all for Tain. There is a DRS, GBRf, Colas Rail, and a Freightliner one coming but unfortunately there all due really early in the morning. All of them should be hauled by class 66s except from the Colas Rail one, which I think might be done by 37s

The ones at Lockerbie are certainly travelling at 125mph.

That was a stoneblower its very similar to a tamper it does the same job but in a different way. Tampers here in scotland are all white except one and the all have SB Rail branding on them

That’s quite cool! I looked back at the train, and saw it actually says stoneblower on the side.

​@@LDMTheTrainspotter DR80210 (Rail code 6U30) was heading up the Far North as far as Helmsdale. Tampers mainly up north are Swietelsky Babcock Rail. DR80210 has been up on the Far North Line before since 2021. 🙂

I know. I wonder if ScotRail will do something cool with them when they do hit their 50th anniversary.

@LDMTheTrainspotter They sure deserve something for what they gave us from 1975 onwards. That basically lasts as long as some other locomotives that are nearly 50 years old and over 50 years old. 😃
