B-Low - Ski Mask Over My Evil Grin (2000) [Nashville, TN]
Ski Mask Over My Evil Grin is B-Low aka Mista B-Low's first album that was released in 2000. I've listened to this album and thought it was pretty good for those who may want to hear it, his flows are pretty decent with some nice solid beats for the most part. P.S. If there is anyone out there that may have the bonus tracks of his called "Choke Out a Hoe Mane" and "I Don't Stutta", I would love to have those. I've searched everywhere for it and couldn't find it.

Later it was remastered under SIC Records in 2020 along with some extra tracks from their other tapes. Master P - MP Da Last Don [Disc 1 Review]

MP Da Last Don is Master P's seventh studio album that was released June 2, 1998, under No Limit and Priority Records. P was pretty much a veteran by dropping numerous artists' albums under the No Limit Records label. 1998 was definitely the year for them to have dropped 23 albums in one year. No other label has ever done that. Instagram almostundaground For those who would like ...
The Entitlement of These Artists/Celebrities

This is mentioned because of what happened with Lil Wayne being upset that he wasn't chosen to be the artist in the Super Bowl, which will be at the Caesar Superdome in New Orleans, LA. • @afrikankingzent
    @afrikankingzent 26 дней назад

    Very interesting topic. I find it funny that gangsta rap is the only genre of music that people look at you as a "bad person" for listening to. I find that people that listen to it, are more comfortable being their authentic self rather than trying to fit in to who people expect them to be. I also am one of those people that people don't expect to be as big of a fan of g-rap at first glance, so I deal with people's opinions of me changing when I play it aloud & it's really fascinating to be honest. America is built on the tenets of what being a gangsta is all about. So why do other cultures get to praise their criminals (Al Capone, Meyer Lansky etc.) while black men, get demonized for just showing the reality of life in America. To me, the scariest thing in today's society is a conscious black man that isn't afraid to stand up for something. So I feel that's what makes the music so polarizing, but that's the beauty of it at the same time. Keep doing what you do boss

      Thanks a lot! It's always like that brother! Gangster rap is the only one that has ppl looking at me as a bad person, all of the time! I usually get a little frustrated because I'm like they don't even know me enough to make that judgment. It's good to know that we're on the same page when it comes to this. I've even had ppl when they encountered me, they was like they totally misjudged me thinking that I didn't know much about certain topics, not just rap music. I'm a very smart individual, they would be surprised of the things that I actually know, like historic events (I love late 1800s-present history, I mean I absolutely love it!) What you just said! When it comes to gangster films that has Al Capone, Iceman, Jeffrey Dahmers, you name it, they get more praises. When it comes to black men even having movies like Juice (Tupac mentioned this as well), we're looked as if we're the bad guys, and it sucks man. This is the country we live in I guess, This Is America!

    No way it makes me a bad person im from the Era 80s baby I'm a defender of hip-hop music gangsta rap aka reality rap we need gangsta rap because that's our news that the regular news wouldn't give you the real some is reality and some is entertainment someone in there 20s or 30s and teens knows the difference and you got some teens and some 20s don't really know the difference is entertainment there some songs make you laugh cry and angry even gangsta rap some songs make you angry and mad because of the music is dark and subject matter is dark it almost make you want to do something but those songs shows you not to go that route in that life to me gangsta rap is show me what to do and what not to do is educational and conscious as well but I will never let it influence me at all is really and is all entertainment as well hip-hop music saved my life period no different I listen to dark explicit rock like slayer, nine inch nails, marliyn manson no different when I watch horror movies but it's entertainment at the end of the day. Thanks to rappers saved my life in the streets like nwa ice t mc eight master p 2pac and so many others as a hip-hop listener know the difference of what's reality and entertainment dope conversation cool one peace out 51 years of hip-hop you are a great regular person if you listen to gangsta rap no matter what race

      Man, ever since my older brother used to listen to rap music back in the 90s, that definitely influenced me to actually get into it. Cuz I was coming up, I used to love rock, alternative, a little bit of heavy metal. I started fully listening to by myself like in the mid/late 90s when I was introduced to 3 6 Mafia, that's how I got started just hearing them out and the whole nine yards! And like you said, "gangster rap" to me, helped me looked up some true history on how we were mistreated coming up, and some of what was said still applies today! Songs like Visions of Poverty by Taylor Boyz, Hand of the Dead Body by Scarface, just to name a few. At the end of the day, I will continue to love it, of course not all of it, but definitely a lot that helps me to grow into the better person of who I am today. I will definitely talk more about horror movies or movies in general on how that can influence more than rap music!

    Nope! I love it and I’m on the straight and narrow path in life. I’ve been listening to it since I was a kid. As long as you know the difference between reality and entertainment and don’t let it influence you negatively then you’re alright. I can admit that I was influenced by it when I was a kid and teenager but I had a very interesting upbringing when it comes to music. I didn’t have anyone around me to explain to me the difference between reality and entertainment so I had to learn it on my own. Luckily, I figured it out before I actually got involved in the street life. I had to deal with hypocrisy when it came to music growing up. I wasn’t allowed to listen to music that contained explicit content. When I bought CD’s back in the day, I had to get the clean versions. However, my mom still used profanity around me constantly and listened to 2 Live Crew around me and sung every explicit lyric. When I called her out on her hypocrisy then she would tell me that she’s grown and that she can say and do what she wants. I didn’t play that and broke the rules every chance that I got. She used to tear my room up looking for CD’s. I loved 50 Cent and G-Unit at the time and my mom hated it because the music was so violent. She and everyone around me thought that I was going to be a wild child as I got older. Now that I’m an adult, I’m one of the kids in my family that has gotten in the least amount of trouble growing up despite my love for gangsta rap. I still love it today even in my 30’s. It’s just entertainment for me and never goes outside of my head when I’m indulging in it.

      Exactly! I've never sold drugs or kill and I love rap faithfully lol, the crazy part with that is ppl believe if you listened to it, you're capable of doing what's being said. They're not listening to the right type of rap, and that's the sad part. It's the only genre that holds others to a standard of being a "good person" or not. Same here, I was involved, specifically around the wrong crowd, and listening to it did kinda put me on that side of doing dumb things as a teen, or like in my early 20s. But truly understanding the type of guy I am, I can differentiate the reality and entertainment of it. Dang, that bad with the parenting?? Lol luckily my parents didn't care that I listened to as a kid, as long as it didn't disturb her if she is watching movies or if it's not too loud, then they would have a problem. She used to watch movies that's rated R around me when I was like 10/11 years old, but I was matured enough to get caught up in that lifestyle of what the movie was about. Now, that's the idea! Out of all of the family that was getting in trouble a lot, I was one of the only few that didn't get involved with that type of deal, but I faithfully listened to "gangster rap". I never let it affect me at the end of the day. I still do, but I'm more considerated on what I play in front of the family. I also have a chat with them to not let what I listen to fool you, I just love the music and that is as far as it goes.

    A 1994 classic. Sic Records got the date wrong, released back to back with the LadyB pt.2

      Ok, great! It is a little confusing with the title being put that way, so I tried to list it the best way that it's recognizable. I may want to say a little something about "Lady Bee" in the future, even someone else already mentioned it on video.

      That's probably the one I will most likely review of BLH, other than that one, I'm not a big fan of the "cannibalism" style he does.
