I knew of every fact you mentioned in this video apart from the Dry Dry Ruins, Peach Beach, Shy Guy Beach, and N64 Bowser's Castle facts. With that fact about Shy Guy Beach, it reminds me of how the main theme from Hotel Mario is based on a song by Max Steiner called "Polka Medley" which is used in the 1933 version of Little Women. I JUST WENT TO GO LOOK AT THE MUSIC FROM A SUMMER PLACE AND THE SONG IS MADE BY THE SAME GUY WHAT. And again I just found that I commented on a video of Alternative N64 Bowser's Castle 5 years ago when I was 11

Some interesting details about this game stem from its localization. There are signs in Coconut Mall that show where the toilets and lift are (which are mainly British English terms; the American English equivalent would be the bathrooms and elevator), and the cars in Moonview Highway drive on the left side of the road. The fun fact is that these things are present in both the NOE and NOA versions, for some reason.

Music major here. Yes Bowser's Castle and Maple Treeway do have the same music but Bowser's Castle is minor while Maple Treeway is major. A small distinction but an important one.🤓
