HI Carlos I have a 130 acorn stairlift its stuck at the top of the stairs with an e4 error code. ive tried a few things but it wont move when I press the switch to go up or own there is no sound. I would appreciate any advice. Thank you Derek
Hi, can you advice how/where to look as my stairlift has no power at all even though the power supply shows green but nothing on the display just above the on/off switch. Thank you
6 years ago, but man I wish i searched this first. I spent an hour troubleshooting, only to have to click the switches.... Thank you! Worked on handicare with error codes 3 and 6.(in case someone with model is having issues)
Purchased a Rave 2 from AmeriGlide and it would not function. It took about 30 days to get it operational. AmeriGlide refused to reimburse me for the repair shop charges. I could not recommend this company because of their lack of support. They will bend over backwards to deny warranty responsibility.
My stairlift won’t go all the way to the top, how do i fix It I had it put in more pieces after buying it from another person in order to make it reach my top stair the person I bought it from stairs ended earlier then mine so it stops where his stairs ended and it won’t go up any higher do I need to reprogram it to make it reach the top or make it go up farther nothing is blocking it to move higher

Hi how to manually winding the stairlift when the lift has got.no power? Also when doing manual winding how to remove the break? I can't wind it because i believe some break is engaged. Thanks
Got a error code #0. At the top we press down. So the chair starts swiveling in line with staircase but, we stopped it too soon so its at a 45 degree angle. When pressing down again it no longer swivels and starts traveling. Confused we stopped now it just says error 0. Any help? Handicare 950+

Hi , I’ve got the same model 600 and the same problem as you Its stuck at the top of the stairs on number 9 I found a quick fix to move it , there is a removable cover over the display That hides three buttons , two are push buttons and one is a SWITCH !!! Press the switch then one of the buttons to move it It will move very slowly , I’m going to try and fix mine tomorrow As I do electronics , please remember to put the SWITCH back under the panel to where it was If you get it sorted , hope this helps for now :-)
hi, we have a second hand one of these we are trying to install. going up seems fine but will not go down. when you try to go down the charging dash just flashes on and off, any ideas? thanks
Carlos Lopez the chair is up and can’t really be sure but it looks more like a 8 just number no letter. I’m taking a look again and it may be cero too I just see the whole panel flashing without stoping unless I turn it off. The chair doesn’t move at all. If is cero what will be your diagnostic? Or recommendation. Thanks
brinozke a zero is usually a key that is turned off, or the stairlift went too far to the top and overran the limit switch. In which case you either turn the key on, or use a winding tool to bring it down a foot. A number 2 means it isn’t charging, and a 6 or a 4 is related to a safety edge.
Željko 8 is going uphill, 9 is coming down. n is definitely half speed which means the batteries are at a critical level and aren’t able to continue receiving a charge. You may need to replace those batteries. If you charging system is working (check all connections in bottom of track to make sure they are tight - also make sure copper strip is clean and charger is plugged in) it may have something to do with the charging circuit on the board.
have you ever taken the cover off? ( the cover that surrounds the on off switch. I need help knowing where the cords go from the on off switch area to circuit board...I cant find pictures or diagrams ANYWHERE. please help, thanks,,,

brinozke what is it showing when you try to go up or down? The most common issue is a code 0.
