What gauge wire did you use

The alternator I tried this with has 6 windings with only 3 pairs with continuity the other wires have continuity across each other

An alternator is more expensive than a motor. You should do the other way around.

I think you missed out swapping the actual top mount bearing mate, which is the bit that wears out. If you take a look at 1.16, after you remove the rubber mount, the part below it is the bearing. You need to replace this part also.

Looked down and there was a bone where my finger should be and finger was ripped into...Im gonna stop there!~ Yeah dont hold a SUPER high torque motor with just your hand when testing!

Just get yourself an oldschool m5 watercooled alternator 4 xtra cool points . & upgrade the bearings to timken lithium greased ones :) .
