What are we looking at here? Comet? Asteroid?
Probably just a meteorite coming in almost strained on.
You've obviously captured many of these types of videos. Why is it, and how often do you find, that they only are emitting light in such a limited area of the video? In other words, the perception is, that a shooting star would be seen in a large portion of the cameras field of view. Just curious. Thank you😎
I think it mostly depends on angle. If it is coming across the sky it would be longer than if it was coming straight at us. If it is coming straight at us it would look like the videos that I call blips. This one is definitely unique. I think it was traveling extra fast as well.
@@brucelebastard I see, and makes sense. Have you considered, that in some cases, that what you are capturing might be something other than a shooting star or meteor? Just curious😎
@@EvidenceOfData The tiny ones could be Sunshine off of satellites. I often think of this if it's early in the evening or late in the morning. After that the imagination starts going.

Probably, especially if you see them from edge to edge. Some are probably planes as well.

Hello. Why is the object only visible in that short window? One would think you'd observe a comet for the duration within a given line of sight. With exception of it burning up while entering?
If it is vertical then I do shorts. The system shares them more. If it is a wide path then I do a full video.

That is real time. Not sped up or slowed down.

My guess is a meteor since it doesn't come from the Horizon. This is probably a stretch since it doesn't quite look right for a meteor, but I think this is best guess.

It was bright but afterwards you could see it was something that moved slightly above the spot that is originally in. Like it was an object moving away.

It was just before 7:00 am. Probably a satellite shining in the sunlight.

What is the estimated speed of that shooting star though space?
No idea. These things are moving fast. Also the earth is moving fast. One variable is what angles they are going to meet.

It was around 6:30 am so some of it is probably is reflection of dawn sun light. Other than that I don't know.

Possible. Another possibility is a meteor coming in almost straight on. It does have a shift to the top right.
