Hello CGPro, first up this is gonna be a gamechanger in the future, you can multiply the ML Deformer and get really good results. I’m now noticed that, if you want to use metahuman face rig, that it doesn’t work in 2025. So unfortunately you either use ML or face rig… Do you have any workarounds to use both ? It doesn’t matter it’s maya 2025 or 2023 Thanks a lot

WOW the results are awesome! I was thinking, "Man this tutorial is pretty complex." But looking at the final results, I think it's clear that an hour is nothing compared the hours upon hours of manually refining weights and corrective joints. I wonder how this will apply to a differently shaped mesh? And how would we be able to tweak the deformation manually after applying the trained deformation, to better suit a different shaped mesh? I'm a complete rigging beginner, but this looks really useful for time crunches ^^'

Do the joint hold over time? Hard that PLA will creep so the joint could loosen.

good tutorial, I have a question, what if you deleted the imported alembic cache from the scene, does the ML deformer still work as the alembic cache exists in the scene?

49:10 you move left arm and left leg area vertices deform, kinda not cool. I guess the reason is random poses for learning when several limbs move at one time. I guess each limb should rotate separately for learning sequence. Good tutorial anyway, thanks.

Hi, So I am guessing you had to copy weights from the Metahuman Rig to the original Rig because of the topology. Should topology should be the same like blend shapes?

Halfway through the video, and wish you edited in your end results just after the first demo, so I (and other viewers) understand what journey we're on.

If you can transfer the metahuman deformation onto the clo3d/MD avatars that would be something special for custom made avatars based on real world body measurements.

I had to laugh out when the randomly generated poses were revealed XD. But very cool and can confirm it works as asmr 😌

The title is misleading, I was hoping there would be some way to get fibermesh into ornatrix without using Maya or other application.

We haven't been able to get a good print of this. Either the parts fit loosely and don't stay in place or they break during assemble. I see this no longer exists on Cults. I was wondering if there were ever any updates to improve it.
