Ls400 KNOCK SENSOR + STARTER REPLACEMENT

Tools you’ll need:
12mm socket
Various size extensions
Pliers for coolant line under throttle body
22mm for knock sensor
14mm starter bolts
Stay away from cheap parts. Use dealer or Denso equivalent parts. You will need to replace the lower intake manifold gasket along with the knock sensors and the starter.
This job is the same on ls400, gs400, gs430, ls430, tundra, sequoia. Not sure if parts are the same but the job is the the same more or less.

Went to the local pick n pull to waste time and just walk the yard. See what’s there. Unfortunately my old ls was in the yard. Heartbreaking to see but onto new adventures with my new ls.

After you have cleaned the drains for the sun roof and you’re still experiencing leaking water then here is your fix. Over the years the sunroof will start to sag into the vehicle. Pop off the plastic trim on both side and do front left then front right and same with the rear screws.

Thank you to all that helped a mutual friend that was down and needed his friends the most. Thankfully we still have our friend here today after rolling off 300 ft. Was med evac to a trauma II center nearby via helicopter. Everyone that came up the mountain to recover the UTV you are all in our friends blessings. He cannot thank us enough for what we did.
