46cm jack. Did you catch another one off camera? I saw 45cm lol pin roll the tail out a extra centimetres lol. Jacks don't fight at the end. Looks like it's still having a hissy fit in the shallows. Probably wouldn't have much tug left after getting skull dragged head on into 40knot white wash current lol...try pulling a 64cm jack out from deep under a snag infested pontoon with 6 oyster coated pylons and see if it just gives up at the end lol..45cm is that what big is up them ways lol just a pup

Through the nose always and 6/0 circle 2 sinkers and swivel with heavy leader and it just sits on the bottom floating up

What set up do you use up that way? Moving up from gold coast next week and want a bit heavier gear. I currently use a 7ft spinning rod on a 2000 reel. Hold its self in the estuaries down here but want to get targeting bigger fish up north
If your bait fishing at causeway runthrough go 4000 reel but if your fishing lures and stuff go 3000 or 2500, for the big big fish at runthrough I use a 6000 reel
